East Coast Bays Borough Council resolves:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a
loan of $100,000, authorised to be raised by the East Coast
Bays Borough Council under the Local Authorities Loans Act
1956, for the purpose of purchasing and developing beach
properties in the Borough, the said Council hereby makes a

($287,000) to be known as Newtown Park Reserves Redevelopment (Stage II) Loan 1970 of $287,000, authorised to be raised
by the Wellington City Council under the above-mentioned
Act for the purpose of redeveloping and improving Newtown
Park, the Wellington City Council hereby makes a special
