Redemption Loan No. 70, 1970—$82,200

CERTIFIED copy of a resolution passed at a meeting of the Auckland City Council held on the 14th day of October 1970.

“That, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and amendments, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and amendment, and regulations thereunder, and of all other powers thereunto enabling it, the Auckland City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of eighty-two thousand two hundred dollars ($82,200) to be known as the Redemption Loan No. 70, 1970—$82,200, which amount is proposed to be raised by the Auckland City Council under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of repaying on maturity portion of the Purchase of Properties Loan 1960, $500,000, Fourth Issue of $100,000, the said Auckland City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of point nought one nine three (.0193) of 1c in the dollar ($) on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property (of Auckland City) comprising the whole of the City of Auckland, and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

“That, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and amendments, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and amendment, and regulations thereunder, and of all other powers thereunto enabling it, the Auckland City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of one hundred and eight thousand two hundred dollars ($108,200) to be known as the Redemption Loan No. 69, 1970—$108,200, which amount is proposed to be raised by the Auckland City Council under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of repaying on maturity portion of the Works Depot Loan 1953, $600,000, Fourth Issue of $140,000, the said Auckland City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of point nought two nine three (.0293) of 1c in the dollar ($) on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property (of Auckland City) comprising the whole of the City of Auckland, and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

“That, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and amendments, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and amendment, and regulations thereunder, and of all other powers thereunto enabling it, the Auckland City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of one million dollars ($1,000,000) to be known as the Purchase of Properties Loan 1970, $1,000,000, which amount is proposed to be raised by the Auckland City Council under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of purchasing properties, the said Auckland City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of point two one three two (.2132) of 1c in the dollar ($) on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property (of Auckland City) comprising the whole of the City of Auckland, and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

“That, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and amendments, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and amendment, and regulations thereunder, and of all other powers thereunto enabling it, the Auckland City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of one hundred and two thousand three hundred dollars ($102,300) to be known as the Redemption Loan No. 71, 1970, $102,300, which amount is proposed to be raised by the Auckland City Council under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of repaying on maturity portion of the Works Loan 1957, $1,400,000, tenth issue of $180,000, the said Auckland City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of point nought four one six (.0416) of 1c in the dollar ($) on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property (of Auckland City) comprising the whole of the City of Auckland, and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

MATAMATA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Tirau Sewerage Loan 1969, $67,000

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Matamata County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $67,000, authorised to be raised by the Matamata County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of providing sewerage reticulation and sewerage treatment plant for Tirau County Town, the said Matamata County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one decimal six two seven two cents (1.6272c) in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the County Town of Tirau, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being for a period of 30 years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

We hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was passed at a duly constituted meeting of the Matamata County Council held on the 15th day of October 1970.
