Notice of Intention to Vary Hours for Sale of Liquor at
Licensed Premises: Porirua District Licensing Trust
PURSUANT to subsection (10) of section 34B of the Licensing
Trusts Act 1949, as inserted by section 3 (1) of the Licensing
Trusts Amendment Act 1967, I, Eric Alderson Missen,
Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Porirua
District Licensing Trust at a meeting on 27 August 1970,
passed the following resolution:
"That, on any day other than a day in which the premises
are required to be closed, the Trust Bottle Store known as
'The Wine Cellar' and located in Lydney Place, Porirua City,
will open and close as follows:
"(1) Monday to Thursday open 9.00 a.m. and close at
6.00 p.m. with an hour closing for midday meal
breaks.
"(2) Friday or any authorised late closing shopping night
from 9.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m. with an hour closing for
midday meal breaks."

Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation
PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the
Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby
set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a marae
and meeting house site for the common use and benefit of the
Maori people of the district generally.

ALL that piece of land situated in Block VI, Kawakawa Survey
District, and described as follows:

PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the
Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby
set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a marae
and meeting house site for the common use and benefit of all
the Maori people of the district.

ALL that piece of land situated in Block XII, Russell Survey
District, and described as follows:

Setting Apart Land as a Maori Reservation
WHEREAS, by Order in Council dated 22 September 1954 and
published in Gazette, 30 September 1954, No. 57, page 1519,
the land described in the First Schedule hereto was set apart
as a Maori Reservation, and whereas, it is now desired to
extend the Reservation to contain adjoining land as recommended by the Maori Land Court now, therefore, pursuant to
the provisions of section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953,
notice is hereby given as follows:
NOTICE
- The Reservation constituted by Order in Council dated
22 September 1954 and published in Gazette, 30 September
1954, No. 57, page 1519, relating to the land described in the
First Schedule is hereby cancelled. - The whole of the land described in the Second Schedule
hereto is hereby set apart as a Maori Reservation for the
purpose of a meeting place, for the common use and benefit of
the Maori people of Pawarenga.
FIRST SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land situated in Block XI, Whangape Survey
District, and described as follows:

Consenting to Raising of Loans by Certain Local Authorities
PURSUANT to section 3 of the Local Authorities Loans Act
1956 (as amended by section 3 (1) of the Local Authorities
Loans Amendment Act 1967), the undersigned Assistant
Secretary to the Treasury, acting under powers delegated to
the Secretary to the Treasury by the Minister of Finance,
hereby consents to the borrowing by the local authorities
mentioned in the Schedule hereto of the whole or any part
of the respective amounts specified in that Schedule.
