The Traffic (Papakura Borough and Franklin County) Notice No. 1, 1970

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Papakura Borough and Franklin County) Notice No. 1, 1970.

2. The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

3. The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 40 miles-an-hour speed limit areas for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

4. The notice dated the 14th day of September 1967† which relates to Papakura Borough is hereby revoked.

FIRST SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Papakura Borough:

Beach Road (from the western boundary of Papakura Borough to a point 16 chains measured easterly generally along Beach Road from the said boundary).

Declaration That a Reserve Form Part of the Te Kauwhata Domain

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares the reserve for recreation described in the Schedule hereto to be a public domain, subject to the provisions of Part III of the said Act, to form part of the Te Kauwhata Domain to be administered as a public domain by the Domain Board.

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation as a reserve for recreation purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto; and further declares that the said land may be disposed of by the Te Puke Borough Council at current market value, the proceeds of any such sale to be paid into the Council's reserves account, such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other recreation reserves under the control of the Council, or in or towards the purchase of other land for recreation purposes.
