Schedule hereto is hereby taken, together with the right of
way over the part Lot 3, L.P. 15304 (C.T. 500/269) shown
coloured blue on plan on C.T. 574/11 created by transfer
342400, for the proper development and use of the said land in
accordance with the operative district scheme for the County
of Horowhenua, and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors,
and Inhabitants of the County of Horowhenua as from the
date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this
Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 26th day of
October 1970.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie
Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby proclaim and declare that the leasehold estate in the
land described in the Schedule hereto, held from Her Majesty
the Queen by Otematata Station Limited, a duly incorporated
company having its registered office at Dunedin, under and
by virtue of pastoral lease No. P. 304, recorded in register
book, Volume 2c, folio 585, Otago Land Registry, is hereby
taken for the development of water power (Benmore water
power scheme).
