Consenting to Raising of Loans by Certain Local Authorities
Pursuant to section 3 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 (as amended by section 3 (1) of the Local Authorities Loans Amendment Act 1967), the undersigned Assistant Secretary to the Treasury, acting under powers delegated to the Secretary to the Treasury by the Minister of Finance, hereby consents to the borrowing by the local authorities mentioned in the Schedule hereto of the whole or any part of the respective amounts specified in that Schedule.

Notice is hereby given that the Emergency Protection Authority has been requested to undertake an inquiry in terms of the Tariff and Development Board Amendment Act 1967, and to report, in terms of section 10D of that Act, concerning the following goods:
Human hair, dressed, thinned, bleached, or otherwise worked; wool or other animal hair prepared for use in making wigs and the like, falling within Tariff item 67.03.00.

Plants Declared Noxious Weeds in the County of Cook
(Notice No. Ag. 10692)
Pursuant to a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture under the Department of Agriculture Act 1953, for the purposes of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the following special order made by the Cook County Council on the 25th day of June 1970 is hereby published:
SPECIAL ORDER
"That in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon it by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the Cook County Council hereby resolves and declares by way of Special Order that each of the plants
Barberry (Berberis darwinii) and Thorn apple or jimson weed (Datura stramonium)
are noxious weeds within the district of the said Council, namely, the whole of the County of Cook."

Division of Hawke's Bay Pest Destruction District Into Wards
(Notice No. Ag. 10696)
Pursuant to section 21 of the Agricultural Pests Destruction Act 1967, the Hawke's Bay Pest Destruction Board hereby gives notice that the Hawke's Bay Pest Destruction District which was constituted by Order in Council on the 5th day of January 1887*, is hereby divided into wards, the names and boundaries of which are specified in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF OMAHU WARD
All that area in the Hawke's Bay Land District, County of Hawke's Bay, City of Hastings and Borough of Havelock North, bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of the Tutaekuri River in line with the north-western boundary of Section 5, Block V, Heretaunga Survey District, being also a point on the boundary of the Hawke's Bay Pest Destruction District as described in New Zealand Gazette, 1966, p. 2079, and proceeding south-easterly, southerly, and westerly along that boundary to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Ohiti Waitio 1E 2 in Block XIII, Heretaunga Survey District; thence to and along that boundary and its production to the middle of Ohiti Road; thence north-westerly and north-easterly generally along the middle of Ohiti Road, Matapiro Road, Napier-Taihape road, and Kawera Road to the south-western boundary of Section 10, Block V, Heretaunga Survey District; thence northerly generally along that boundary and the south-western and north-western boundaries of Section 5, Block V, Heretaunga Survey District, and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the point of commencement.
BOUNDARIES OF CROWN-THORPE WARD
All that area in the Hawke's Bay Land District, County of Hawke's Bay, bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of the Tutaekuri River in line with the north-western boundary of Section 5, Block V, Heretaunga Survey District, and proceeding southerly generally to and along the north-western and south-western boundaries of Section 5 aforesaid, and the south-western boundary of Section 10, Block V aforesaid, to the middle of Kawera Road; thence south-westerly and south-easterly generally along the middle of Kawera Road, Napier-Taihape road, Matapiro Road, and Ohiti Road to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Ohiti Waitio 1E 2; thence south-easterly to and along that boundary and its production to the middle of the Ngaruroro River; thence up the middle of that river to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 8330; thence to and along that boundary and its production to the middle of Matapiro Road; thence north-westerly along the middle of that road to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Lot 3, D.P. 4022; thence to and along that boundary, the northern boundary of Lot 3, the eastern and northern boundaries of Lot 2, D.P. 4022, and the northern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 4022, to the eastern boundary of Section 7, Block V, Matapiro Survey District; thence northerly generally along the eastern boundaries of Sections 7, 5, and 3, Block V aforesaid, and the south-western and north-western boundaries of Section 11, Block I, Matapiro Survey District, to a point in line with the northern boundary of part Lot 2, D.P. 3202; thence to and along that boundary and northerly and easterly generally along the western boundaries of Sections 5, 3, 2, and 1, Block I, Matapiro Survey District, the northern boundary of Section 1 aforesaid, and the eastern boundary of Section 9, Block I aforesaid, to a point in line with the southern boundary of Lot 1, D.P.7296; thence to and along that boundary to the south-western boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 7486; thence south-easterly, north-easterly, and south-easterly along the south-western and south-eastern boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. 7486, and the eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 7409, and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of the Napier-Taihape road; thence north-easterly generally along the middle of that road and the middle of Flagrange Road to a point in
