Maori Land Development Notice

PURSUANT to section 330 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as follows:

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Whangarei 1970, No. 20.
  2. The land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be subject to Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

Maori Land Development Notice

WHEREAS by virtue of the notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto the land described in that notice was declared to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953; and whereas the appellation of a certain parcel of the land has been changed by subsequent order of the Maori Land Court; and whereas it is desired to release part of that parcel of land from the provisions of the said Part XXIV; and whereas it is desired that the balance of the parcel of land (under the present appellation) shall remain subject to the provisions of the said Part XXIV:
Now therefore, pursuant to sections 330 and 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as follows.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Whangarei 1970, No. 21.
  2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby amended by omitting all reference to the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.
  3. The land described in the Third Schedule hereto is hereby released from the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.
  4. The land described in the Fourth Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be subject to Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

The Ministry of Transport Ensign

FOLLOWING the establishment of the Ministry of Transport by the Ministry of Transport Act 1968 (No. 39), a Ministry of Transport Ensign has been introduced and it may be flown on the Ministry's buildings and aircraft or vessels.

DESCRIPTION

THE ensign shall comprise a field of light blue, the N.Z. ENSIGN in the first canton, and the Ministry of Transport emblem situated in the centre of the fly. A drawing of the said ensign is deposited in the Ministry of Transport drawing office in Aurora House, Wellington.

Cancellation of Registration as a Teacher

PURSUANT to section 135 (1) of the Education Act 1964, the name of William John Potter has been removed from the Teachers Register and his Teacher's Certificate has been cancelled.

Rock Oyster Farming Lease

PURSUANT to the Rock Oyster Farming Act 1964, the Minister of Marine has granted to Hopa Brown, Paihere Brown, and Piri Brown, of Northland, the lease of 5 acres of seabed (lease No. 173) in the Te Kao Channel, Parengarenga Harbour, for the cultivation of rock oysters.
