Declaring Land Taken for Soil Conservation and River Control Purposes and to be Crown Land in Block I, Whakatane Survey District, Whakatane County

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby (a) declares that a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby taken for soil conservation and river control purposes from and after the 12th day of October 1970, and; (b) further declares the land described in the said Schedule to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1928, as from the 12th day of October 1970.

Declaring Land Taken and a Right of Way Easement over Land Taken for Soil Conservation and River Control Purposes in Block IV, Orahiri Survey District, Otorohanga County

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for soil conservation and river control purposes and hereby further declares that a right of way easement is hereby taken for soil conservation and river control purposes over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, vesting in Her Majesty the Queen full and free liberty, right, licence, and authority in perpetuity to construct and use a right of way with the right for Her Majesty’s servants to go, pass, and repass, with or without horses, or other animals or vehicle, over the said land and to maintain, repair, and to keep open the said right of way from and after the 12th day of October 1970.
