THE CHARITABLE TRUSTS ACT 1957
IN THE MATTER of Part III of the Charitable Trusts Act and IN THE MATTER of the trusts contained in a certain deed of trust dated the 29th day of March 1941, constituting the LORD RUTHERFORD MEMORIAL RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP and affecting the University of Canterbury:
NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to section 36 of the Charitable Trusts Act 1957, that the Trustees under the above-mentioned deed of trust have applied to the Supreme Court at Christchurch for approval to a scheme for the amendment of the regulations contained in the said deed of trust relating to the administration of the Lord Rutherford Memorial Research Fellowship. The scheme provides that the annual value of the fellowship shall be one thousand five hundred dollars ($1,500), and that the fellowship shall normally be awarded in every fourth year. The scheme also provides for amendments to the regulations contained in the said deed relating to the election of a Fellow and the tenure of the fellowship.
A copy of the said scheme has been deposited in and may be inspected at the Supreme Court Office at Christchurch. It is proposed that the application for approval will be heard at the Supreme Court at Christchurch at Wednesday, the 25th day of November 1970, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon. Any person desiring to oppose the said scheme is required to give written notice of his intention to do so to the Registrar of the Supreme Court, and to the trustees, and to the Attorney-General not less than 7 clear days before the date proposed for the hearing of the application.

NOTICE is hereby given pursuant to section 36 of the Charitable Trusts Act 1957, that the Trustees under the above-mentioned deed of trust have applied to the Supreme Court at Christchurch for approval to a scheme for the amendment of the regulations contained in the said deed of trust relating to the administration of the Sims Empire Scholarship. The scheme provides that the annual value of the Scholarship shall be one thousand five hundred dollars ($1,500), and that the scholarship shall normally be awarded in every fourth year. The scheme also provides for amendments to the regulations contained in the said deed relating to the election of a scholar and the tenure of the scholarship.

ADVERTISMENT OF CANCELLING
NOTICE is hereby given that the Registrar of Friendly Societies has pursuant to section 70 of the Friendly Societies Act 1909, by writing under his hand dated this 21st day of September 1970, cancelled the registry of Court Zealandia No. 4741, Register No. 356/2 (3) a branch of the Auckland District of the Ancient Order of Foresters of New Zealand Friendly Society held at Auckland, on the ground that the said court has ceased to exist.
