The Road Classification (Rodney County) Notice No. 2, 1970

PURSUANT to regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1969*, the Secretary for Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Road Classification (Rodney County) Notice No. 2, 1970.

  2. The Rodney County Council's proposed classification of the roads as set out in the Schedule hereto is hereby approved.

  3. So much of the notices dated the 8th day of July 1966, the 11th day of September 1959, the 1st day of June 1950, and the 19th day of June 1970t, which relate to the classification of the roads described in the Schedule hereto is hereby revoked.

Declaration of Result of Election of Potato Growers' Representative on the Potato Board

I, Neil John McHugh, Returning Officer of the Potato Board Election, do hereby declare that Walter McKechnie Williams, being the only person nominated to represent the Northern Ward on the Potato Board, is elected a member of the Board as from the 23rd day of September 1970.

PURSUANT to regulation 3 of the Honey Marketing Authority Regulations 1964, notice is hereby given that, of the persons duly nominated for election to the office of producers' representatives on the Honey Marketing Authority

having received the greatest number of votes in the said elections, I do declare them to be duly elected as producers' representatives on the said Honey Marketing Authority.

Election of Growers' Representatives to the Tobacco Board

PURSUANT to the Tobacco Growing Industry Act 1935, the Tobacco Growing Industry Amendment Act 1951, and the Tobacco Board Election Regulations 1952, regulation 24, I hereby give public notice that the number of votes received by each candidate for the office of growers' representatives on the Tobacco Board is as follows:

Rock Oyster Farming Lease

PURSUANT to the Rock Oyster Farming Act 1964, the Minister of Marine has granted to South Pacific Ocean Farms Ltd. of Paihia, the lease of 5 acres of seabed (lease No. 130) in the Waikare Inlet, Bay of Islands, for the cultivation of rock oysters.

Consenting to Raising of Loans by Certain Local Authorities

PURSUANT to section 3 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 (as amended by section 3 (1) of the Local Authorities Loans Amendment Act 1967), the undersigned Assistant Secretary to the Treasury, acting under powers delegated to the Secretary to the Treasury by the Minister of Finance, hereby consents to the borrowing by the local authorities mentioned in the Schedule hereto of the whole or any part of the respective amounts specified in that Schedule.
