PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby directs the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required for the purpose for which it was acquired.

Adding Land to the Nelson Lakes National Park

THE RIGHT HON. SIR KEITH HOLYOAKE, G.C.M.G., C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 10 of the National Parks Act 1952, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto, shall as from the date hereof be added to and form part of the Nelson Lakes National Park, and shall hereafter be managed, administered, and dealt with by the Nelson Lakes National Park Board in accordance with the provisions of the said Act.

Constitution of Ashburton Hydatids Control District (Notice No. Ag. 10662)

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Hydatids Act 1968, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order:

ORDER

  1. (1) This order may be cited as the Ashburton Hydatids Control District Order 1970.

(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.

  1. The area comprising the County of Ashburton is hereby declared a hydatids control district to be called the Ashburton hydatids control district.

  2. The Ashburton County Council is hereby appointed the Hydatids Control Authority for the Ashburton hydatids control district.

Appointment of Deputy for Chairman of the Cinematograph Films Censorship Board of Appeal

PURSUANT to section 93 of the Cinematograph Films Act 1961, the Minister of Internal Affairs hereby appoints Desmond John Sullivan, S.M., of Wellington, to act as chairman of the Cinematograph Films Censorship Board of Appeal for the hearing of an appeal brought by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (N.Z.) Ltd., against the Censor’s decision relating to the film “My Lover, My Son”.
