Notice to Creditors to Prove Debts or Claims

In the matter of the Companies Act 1955, and of M. G. Cowan Ltd. (in voluntary liquidation), the liquidator of M. G. Cowan Ltd. which is being wound up voluntarily, doth hereby fix the 30th day of September 1970, as the day on or before which the creditors of the company are to prove their debts or claims, and to establish any title they may have to priority under section 308 of the Act, or to be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before such debts are proved or, as the case may be, from objecting to such distribution.

NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was, on the 25th day of August 1970, presented to the said Court by BATTERY MAKERS OF NEW ZEALAND LIMITED, a duly incorporated company having its registered office at Lower Hutt. And that the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Auckland, on the 25th day of September 1970, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished by the undersigned to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring a copy on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

RAGLAN COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO STOP ROAD

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, public notice is hereby given that the Raglan County Council proposes under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928 to execute a public work, namely, the road described in the Schedule hereof is required to be stopped, and notice is hereby further given that the plan of that portion of road required to be stopped is deposited at the offices of the Raglan County Council, Great

South Road, Ngaruawahia, and is now open for inspection; all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the stopping of the said road should, if they have any objections to the execution of the said public work or to the stopping of the said road, set forth in writing and send the written objection within forty (40) days of the first publication of this notice to the office of the Council; and if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

HUTT COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, the Health Act 1956, the Counties Act 1956, and the Municipal Corporations Act 1933, notice is hereby given that the Hutt County Council proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts to execute a certain public work, namely, the provision and maintenance of a package sewage treatment plant for the efficient drainage of the district; and for the purpose of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the County Clerk to the said Council, situate in Bowen House, Bowen Street, Wellington, and also in the office of the Council at Lombard Buildings, MacLean Street, Paraparaumu Beach, and is open for inspection without fee, by all persons, during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands who have any objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, must state their objections in writing and send the same within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk, Hutt County Council, Bowen House, Bowen Street, Wellington. If any such objection is made, a public hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

ALL those pieces of land situated in the County of Hutt:

First, containing 34.6 perches, more or less, situate in Block III of the Kapiti Survey District, being part Section 6, Block VIII, Town of Paraparaumu, and being also Lot 15 on Deposited Plan 27104 and being also all the land comprised and described in certificate of title No. 6D/41 (Wellington Registry) subject to:

  1. The reservation as to coal, gold and silver as set out in No. 516880.

  2. No. 655513, notice of building line restriction.

Secondly, containing 34.7 perches, more or less, situate in Block III of the Kapiti Survey District, being part Section 6, Block VIII, Town of Paraparaumu, and being also Lot 16 on Deposited Plan 27104, and being also all the land comprised and described in certificate of title No. 6D/42 (Wellington Registry) subject to:

  1. The reservation as to coal, gold and silver as set out in No. 516880.

  2. No. 655513, notice of building line restriction,

which said pieces of land are situated on the eastern side of the north end of Buckley Grove, Paraparaumu, approximately 350 yards from the entrance to Buckley Grove at its junction with State Highway No. 1.
