LINES for the supply of electricity extending across Lot 12, D.P. 3001 of Section 117, and Lot Nos. 3, 4, 5, and D.P. 785 of Section 118, Block I, Paterson Survey District, as shown on the plan marked NZED 561, deposited in the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington.

Varying Determinations by the Minister of Customs under Section 121 of the Customs Act 1966

PURSUANT to section 121 of the Customs Act 1966, the Minister of Customs hereby varies, in the manner set out in the Schedule hereto, the determinations made under the said section on the 22nd day of March 1967 and published in the Gazette on the 22nd day of March 1967, at pages 417 and 418.

SCHEDULE

PART I of the determinations is amended by omitting from column No. 2 thereof the condition: "May be built up and assembled in the metal frame" (set forth in respect of seat springs at subparagraph (b) of paragraph (ii) of the reference to Class I motor vehicles) and by substituting the condition: "May not be attached to a spring frame or seat frame".

Part II of the determinations is amended at paragraph 4, by adding, after the words "laminated undercarriage springs (not including shackles therefor)" the words "Seat frame and spring frame assemblies". At paragraph 6, by omitting the words "(including metal frames therefor)".

This variation of the aforesaid determinations shall take effect on the 1st day of May 1971.

The Motor Launch (Oreti River) Notice 1970, Invercargill City Council

PURSUANT to the Motor Launch Regulations 1962*, the Minister of Marine hereby gives the following notice:

  1. (a) This notice may be cited as the Motor Launch (Oreti River) Notice 1970.
    (b) This notice shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Gazette, and shall remain in force until further notice.

  2. Subject to the conditions set forth in the Second Schedule hereto, regulations 11 and 12 of the Motor Launch Regulations 1962 shall not apply with regard to the area described in the First Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE

Firstly, all the waters of the Oreti River between the following boundaries:

(a) Southward of a line drawn in an east-west direction running from the western boundary to the eastern boundary of the river in line with the south side of the Dunns Road river bridge.
(b) Northward of a line drawn in an east-west direction running from the western boundary to the eastern boundary of the river in transit with the southern boundary of Crawford Road, Otatara.

Secondly, all the waters of the Oreti River between the following boundaries:

(a) Eastward of a line drawn in a south-west direction across the river from a position on the north-eastern riverbank 15 chains north-westward of the junction of the westernmost boundary of Oreti Road, Otatara, and the river.
(b) Westward of a line drawn in a north-south direction running from the northern boundary to the southern boundary of the river from a position on the northern riverbank 121 chains eastward of the junction of the westernmost boundary of Oreti Road, Otatara, and the river.

SECOND SCHEDULE

  1. Each end of each boundary outlined in the area firstly described in the First Schedule shall be marked with a notice board measuring not less than 2 ft 6 in. by 2 ft, painted white with black letters, and shall contain the following notice:

"NOTICE

MOTOR LAUNCH REGULATIONS 1962
No speed restrictions for motor launches and water skiers for 1,220 yards south of the Dunns Road river bridge."

  1. Each end of each boundary outlined in the area secondly described in the First Schedule shall be marked with a notice board measuring not less than 2 ft 6 in. by 2 ft, painted white with black letters, and shall contain the following notice:

"NOTICE

MOTOR LAUNCH REGULATIONS 1962
No speed restrictions for motor launches and water skiers for 15 chains north-westward and 121 chains eastward of the junction of the westernmost boundary of Oreti Road and the river.

PURSUANT to clause 20 of the Schedule to the Hop Marketing Regulations 1939, notice is hereby given that only five persons having been duly nominated for election to the office of producers' representatives on the Hop Marketing Committee, I do declare

McGlashen, Bruce Herbert, Hill, Joseph Thomas, Cole, Maurice Sidney, Inglis, Jeffrey McGlashen, and Waters, Robert Alexander being the persons so nominated, to be duly elected as producers' representatives.

The Road Classification (Whangarei County) Notice No. 1, 1970

PURSUANT to regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1969*, the Secretary for Transport hereby gives the following notice:

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Road Classification (Whangarei County) Notice No. 1, 1970.

  2. The Whangarei County Council's proposed classification of the roads as set out in the Schedule hereto is hereby approved.

  3. The Warrant dated the 3rd day of February 1965†, which relates to the classification of the roads described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby revoked.

WHANGAREI COUNTY
Roads Classified in Class Two
ALL roads under the control of the Whangarei County Council.

Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a burial ground for the common use and benefit of the Ngatituranga Hapu and the Maori people of the area.
