Reservation of Land and Vesting in the Putaruru Borough Council
Pursuant to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby
sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a reserve
for recreation purposes and further, pursuant to the Reserves
and Domains Act 1953, vests the said reserve in the Mayor,
Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Putaruru, in trust,
for that purpose.

Licensing the New Zealand Sugar Co. Ltd. to Erect and Use Electric Lines
Pursuant to the Electricity Act 1968, the Minister of Electricity
hereby licenses the New Zealand Sugar Co. Ltd., of Chelsea, a
duly incorporated company, having its registered office at
Auckland (hereinafter referred to as the licensee), subject to
the following conditions, to lay, construct, put up, place, and
use the electric lines described in the Schedule hereto.
CONDITIONS
-
This licence is subject to compliance with the Electrical
Supply Regulations 1967, the Electrical Wiring Regulations
1961, the Radio Interference Regulations 1958, and all regula-
tions made in amendment of or in substitution for any of those
regulations. -
The system of supply shall be as described in paragraph
(d) of regulation 15 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1967. -
A readily recognisable method of construction, segregation,
or sleeving shall be employed to identify the lines where there
is a possibility of interconnection or danger from electrical
contact due to the proximity of the lines to any lines under
the jurisdiction of the Waitemata Electric Power Board. The
method employed shall be standard to the installation and to
the approval of that Board. -
This licence shall, unless it is sooner lawfully determined,
continue in force until the 31st day of March 1991.
SCHEDULE
Electric lines commencing from the licensee's generator and
proceeding:
(a) Within the licensee's land known as the Chelsea Estate
situated in the Borough of Birkenhead;
(b) Along the licensee's sugar wharf, and the Auckland
Harbour Board's ferry wharf at Chelsea.
All lines being shown on the plan marked NZED 805,
deposited in the office of the New Zealand Electricity Depart-
ment at Wellington.

Licensing Zeelia Marjory Dawson and Bruce James Ford, both of Halfmoon Bay, Stewart Island, and James Bonar Fraser, of Invercargill, to Erect and Use Electric Lines
Pursuant to the Electricity Act 1968, the Minister of Elec-
tricity hereby licenses Zeelia Marjory Dawson, housewife, and
Bruce James Ford, factory manager, both of Halfmoon Bay,
Stewart Island, and James Bonar Fraser, funeral director of
Invercargill, subject to the following conditions, to lay, con-
struct, put up, place, and use the electric lines described in the
Schedule hereto.
CONDITIONS
-
This licence is subject to compliance with the Electrical
Supply Regulations 1967, the Electrical Wiring Regulations
1961, the Radio Interference Regulations 1958, and all regula-
tions made in amendment of or in substitution for any of those
regulations. -
The system of supply shall be as described in paragraph
(d) of regulation 15 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1967,
and shall be an alternating current system. -
This licence shall, unless it is sooner lawfully determined,
continue in force until the expiration of a period of 21 years
from the date hereof or until electrical energy is available from
an electric power board or other public source of supply,
whichever is the earlier.
REVOCATION
This licence is issued in place of a licence issued to Rupert
Tamatiki Dawson of Halfmoon Bay, Stewart Island by an
Order in Council dated the 1st day of February 1961, and
appearing in the Gazette on the 2nd day of the same month
at page 179, which licence is consequently revoked.
