Pursuant to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the leasehold estate in the land described in the Schedule hereto, held from the Crown by Walter Gilbert Elliot, of "Omahau", runholder, under and by virtue of pastoral lease No. 92, is hereby taken for electricity works (Upper Waitaki power development scheme) from and after the 21st day of September 1970.
