PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works hereby proclaims as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto; also hereby proclaims as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto and declares that the road first, thirdly, fourthly, sixthly, and seventhly described in the said Second Schedule, when so closed, shall vest in Edward Gordon Gibb, of Mataura Island, farmer, subject to memorandum of mortgage No. 85969, Southland Land Registry; and also hereby takes the land described in the Third Schedule hereto for the purpose of subsection 6 of the said section 29.
