RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Sewer Renewal Loan 1970, $28,000

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hamilton City Council resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $28,000, authorised to be raised by the Hamilton City Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of repaying on maturity those portions of the Sewer Loan 1957 of $263,200 and the Sewer Renewal Loan 1964 of $80,000, which mature on 1 and 20 August 1970, the said Hamilton City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal zero zero seven seven (.0077) of a cent in the dollar ($) on the rateable value of all rateable property in the City of Hamilton, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable on the 1st day of April of each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 6 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed at a duly constituted meeting of the Hamilton City Council held on the 12th day of August 1970.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Storm Water Streets Renewal Loan 1970, $111,000

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 the Hamilton City Council resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $111,000, authorised to be raised by the Hamilton City Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of repaying on maturity those portions of the Streets Loan 1959 of $200,000 and the Stormwater Loan 1963 of $300,000, which mature on 1 August 1970 and 1 September 1970 and the Storm Water Drainage and Ulster Street Culvert Loan 1956 of $200,000, which matures on 1 August 1970, the said Hamilton City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal zero two zero six (.0206) of a cent in the dollar on the rateable value of all rateable property in the City of Hamilton, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable on the 1st day of April of each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hamilton City Council resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $60,000, authorised to be raised by the Hamilton City Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of repaying on maturity those portions of the Crematorium Loan 1958 of $82,000, which mature on 1 September 1970 and 1 October 1970, the said Hamilton City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal zero one one two (.0112) of a cent in the dollar ($) on the rateable value of all rateable property in the City of Hamilton, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable on the 1st day of April of each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

RAGLAN COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Rural Housing Loan No. 12 1970, $80,000

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Raglan County Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $80,000 authorised to be raised by the Raglan County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of making advances to farmers in terms of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Raglan County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought six one eight of a cent (.0618c) in the dollar ($) upon the unimproved value of all rateable property comprising the whole of the County of Raglan, and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be paid yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of thirty-five (35) years, or until the loan is paid off."

I hereby certify that the above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Raglan County Council, held on the 24th day of August 1970.

GISBORNE CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Pensioners' Flats Loan 1969 of $74,000

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Gisborne City Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $74,000, authorised to be raised by the Gisborne City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing land and erecting accommodation for old people, the said Gisborne City Council hereby makes a rate of 0.018c in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the whole of the City of Gisborne; and that the special rate be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, for a period of 40 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

The foregoing resolution was passed at a meeting of the Gisborne City Council held on 18 August 1970.

EASTBOURNE BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Sports Centre Loan 1970, $25,000

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Eastbourne Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000), authorised to be raised by the Eastbourne Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of erecting a sports centre the said Eastbourne Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of point nought three eight cents (.038c) in the dollar upon the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property within the borough, and the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

Passed at a meeting of the Council held on the 20th day of August 1970.
