HOBSON COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Rural Housing Loan 1969—$65,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hobson County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of sixty-five thousand dollars ($65,000) authorised to be raised by the Hobson County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of making advances to farmers in terms of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Hobson County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal one one four cents (.114c) in the dollar on the unimproved value of all rateable property in the County of Hobson; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 20th day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

The above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Hobson County Council held on the 23rd day of January 1970.

AUCKLAND ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

General Extension and Improvement Loan 1969, of $600,000

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Auckland Electric-power Board Act 1921–22, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and of every other power in that behalf enabling it, the Auckland Electric-power Board hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of $600,000 known as the General Extension and Improvement Loan 1969, of $600,000, for the purpose of further reticulation of the Board’s area and extending, strengthening, and reorganising the supply within that area, the Auckland Electric-power Board doth hereby make and levy a special rate of decimal nought nought four eight seven (.00487) cents in the dollar ($) on the rateable value on the basis of the capital value of all rateable property in the Auckland Electric-power District, comprising the Cities of Auckland, Manukau, and Papatoetoe, together with the Boroughs of Ellerslie, Howick, Mount Albert, Mount Eden, Mount Roskill, Mount Wellington, Newmarket, Onehunga, One Tree Hill, Otahuhu, and Papakura and the Road District of Waiheke; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 31st day of March in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 12 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I, Allan William Gooder, Chairman of the Auckland Electric-power Board, hereby certify that this is a true copy of the resolution passed by the Board at its meeting of the 15th day of December 1969.

OHINEMURI COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

“THAT, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $150,000 authorised to be raised by the Ohinemuri County Council under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 for the purpose of installing full sewerage reticulation and a treatment plant to serve the leasehold portion, new motor camp, and proposed pensioners’ flats in the Waihi Beach County Township, the said Ohinemuri County Council hereby makes a special rate of 2.9273c in the dollar (on the basis of the unimproved value) on all rateable land in the Waihi Beach Sewerage Loan, $150,000, special rating area; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

WHAKATANE BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Pensioner Housing Loan 1969, $48,000

THAT, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Whakatane Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of forty-eight thousand dollars ($48,000) authorised to be raised by the Whakatane Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing land and erecting thereon accommodation for pensioners, the said Whakatane Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal point nought four three cents (.043c) in the dollar ($) upon the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property over the whole of the Borough of Whakatane; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty (40) years or until the said loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Whakatane Borough Council held on the 27th day of January 1970.

PATEA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Staff Housing Loan 1969—$8,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Patea County Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $8,000 authorised to be raised by the Patea County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing staff housing, the said Patea County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.004c in the dollar on all rateable property within the County of Patea; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 15 years, or until such loan is fully paid off.

MALVERN COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Darfield Water Supply Loan 1969—$120,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Malvern County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $120,000 authorised to be raised by the Malvern County Council under the provisions of the above-mentioned Act for the Darfield water supply, the said Malvern County Council makes a special rate of 0.675 of a cent in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Darfield County Town; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years or until the loan is fully paid off.”
