Notice of Intention to Take Land in Block XIV, Maramarua Survey District, Waikato County, for Soil Conservation and River Control Purposes
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work namely, the construction of the Lower Waikato - Waipa control scheme Section B, and for the purposes of that public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken: And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Rangiri and is there open for inspection; that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same in writing and send the written objection within 40 days of the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington; and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

The Traffic (Waikato County) Notice No. 1, 1970
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice:
NOTICE
- This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Waikato County) Notice No. 1, 1970.
- The road specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 40-miles-an-hour speed limit area for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.
- The notice under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, dated the 23rd day of September 1958†, which relates to Taupiri in Waikato County is hereby revoked.
SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Waikato County at Taupiri:
No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) (from a point 4 chains measured southerly generally along the said State highway from Lovells Road to Kainui Road).

The Traffic (Waitemata County) Notice No. 4, 1970
PURSUANT to subclause 5 of regulation 18 of the Traffic Regulations 1956* the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE
- This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Waitemata County) Notice No. 4, 1970.
- The Minister of Transport hereby consents to the erection of flashing red lights at the places described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of traffic control in terms of regulation 18 subclause 4 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.
- The notice dated the 12th day of May 1970†, which relates to the Orewa Fire Station, Waitemata County, is hereby revoked.
