IN THE MATTER of the Companies Act 1955, and IN THE MATTER
of BROOKLYN GROCERY-DAIRY LIMITED, a duly incorporated
company having its registered office at Wellington:
NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding up of
the above-named company by the Supreme Court was, on the
23rd day of July 1970, presented to the said Court by Leonard
Joseph Moore, of Wellington, manager, and Alice Dorothy
Moore, his wife. And the said petition is directed to be heard
before the Court sitting at Wellington, on the 19th day of
August 1970, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon; and any creditor
or contributory of the said company desirous to support or
oppose the making of an order on the said petition may appear
at the time of hearing in person or by his counsel for that
purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished by the
undersigned to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring a copy on payment of the regulated charge for
the same.

notice must state the name, address, and description of the
person, or, if a firm, the name, address, and description of the
firm, and an address for service within 3 miles of the office
of the Supreme Court at Wellington, and must be signed by the
person or firm, or his or their solicitor (if any), and must
be served, or if posted, must be sent by post in sufficient time
to reach the above-named petitioners' address for service not
later than 4 o'clock in the afternoon of Tuesday, the 18th day
of August 1970.

CHRISTCHURCH CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
NOTICE is hereby given that the Christchurch City Council
proposes under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928,
to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for a public
work, namely, for street widening.
Every person affected should set forth in writing any objection he may wish to make to the execution of the said work or
to the taking of the said land, not being an objection to the
amount of or the payment of compensation, and to lodge the
written objection at the offices of the Christchurch City Council, Manchester Street, Christchurch within forty (40) days
from the 5th day of August 1970, being the date of the first
publication of this notice. If any such objection is made a
public hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector
requires otherwise, and each such objector will be notified of
the time and place of such hearing.

All that piece of land situated in the City of Christchurch
containing twenty-one decimal four perches (21.4p.) or thereabouts, being Lot 1, Deposited Plan 2115, part Rural Section
176, and being also all of the land contained in certificate of
title, Volume 336, folio 279 (Canterbury Registry), and known
as Number 144, Waltham Road, City of Christchurch. -
All that piece of land situated in the City of Christchurch
containing twenty perches (20p.) or thereabouts, being part
Lot 28, Deposited Plan 1343, part Rural Section 176, and being
also all of the land contained in certificate of title, Volume
427, folio 155 (Canterbury Registry), and known as Number
156, Waltham Road, City of Christchurch. -
All that piece of land situated in the City of Christchurch
containing one rood (1r.) or thereabouts, being Lot 37,
Deposited Plan 1343, part Rural Section 176, and being also
all of the land contained in certificate of title, Volume 206,
folio 211 (Canterbury Registry), and known as Number 194,
Waltham Road, City of Christchurch.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
New Depot Loan 1970, $65,000
THAT, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Papatoetoe City Council hereby resolved as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
the loan of $65,000, authorised to be raised by the Papatoetoe
City Council under the above-named Act, for the purpose of
meeting the increased costs of purchasing and developing land
and erecting a city depot, the said Papatoetoe City Council
hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought three four two
two cents (.03422c) in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value
of all rateable property in the City of Papatoetoe; and that the
special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the
currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of
August in each and every year during the currency of the loan,
being a period of twenty-five (25) years or until the loan is
fully paid off."

TAURANGA CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Housing of Aged Loan 1970, $32,000
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that at a meeting of the Tauranga
City Council held on 27 July 1970, the following resolution
was passed:
"Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Tauranga City Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of $32,000, authorised to be raised by the Tauranga City
Council under the above-mentioned Act, for purchasing land
and erecting accommodation for old people, the said Tauranga
City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal point
nought nought four three eight one cents (.003481c) in the
dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the
City of Tauranga and that the special rate shall be an annualrecurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable
half yearly on the 1st day of May and November in each and
every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period
of 40 years or until the loan is fully paid off."

WAIUKU BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Sewerage Loan 1969, $350,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Waiuku Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a
loan of three hundred and fifty thousand dollars ($350,000),
authorised to be raised by the Waiuku Borough Council under
the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of providing sewerage treatment facilities, main trunk sewers, reticulation, and
all other works ancillary thereto, the said Waiuku Borough
Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal three seven
zero three (.3703) cents in the dollar upon the rateable value
of all rateable property of the Borough of Waiuku, and that
the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the
currency of the loan, and be payable half-yearly, on the 1st
day of September and the 1st day of March in each and every
year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30
years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
