Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 24) 1970

PURSUANT to regulation 16 of the Import Control Regulations 1964*, the Minister of Customs hereby gives notice as follows:

  1. (a) This notice may be cited as the Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 24) 1970.
    (b) This notice shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

  2. Goods of the class specified and for the purposes of the Customs Tariff falling within the Tariff items in the First Schedule hereto, imported from and being the produce or manufacture of any country, are hereby exempted from the requirement of a licence under the said regulations.

  3. The exemption from the requirement of a licence under the said regulations in respect of the goods of the class set forth in the Second Schedule hereto, included in the exempting notice shown in the Second Schedule, is hereby withdrawn.

Road Classification (Eltham County) Notice No. 1, 1970

Pursuant to regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1969*, the Secretary for Transport hereby gives the following notice:

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Road Classification (Eltham County) Notice No. 1, 1970.

  2. The Eltham County Council's proposed classification of the roads set out in the Schedule hereto is hereby approved.

  3. The notices dated the 31st day of October 1950, the 29th day of November 1967, and the 28th day of January 1969† which relate to the classification of the roads described in the Schedule hereto are hereby revoked.

SCHEDULE
THE ROAD CLASSIFICATION (ELTHAM COUNTY) NOTICE NO. 1, 1970

Roads Classified in Class Two

Auroa Road—that part which lies between Stratford-Opunake Road and Waimate West County boundary.
Dalziel Road—the whole of its length.
Duthie Road—that part which lies between Eltham Road and Skeet Road.
Eltham Road—that part which lies within the Eltham County.
Fraser Road—that part which lies within the Eltham County.
Hastings Road—that part which lies within the Eltham County.
Hunter Road—the whole of its length.
Manaia Road—that part which lies within the Eltham County.
Mangawhero Road—that part which lies between Stratford-Opunake Road and Waimate West County boundary.
Neill Road—that part which lies between Mountain Road and a point 10 chains west of the Marton to New Plymouth railway.
Palmer Road—that part which lies within the Eltham County.
Quinns Road—the whole of its length.
Rawhitiroa Road—that part which lies between the Eltham Borough boundary and that point where the western boundary of part Lot 4, D.P. 388, meets the Rawhitiroa Road.
Rotokare Road—that part which lies between Mountain Road and Fraser Road.
Rowan Road—that part which lies between Stratford-Opunake Road and Eltham Road.
Skeet Road—that part which lies between Boylan Road and Palmer Road.
Stratford-Opunake Road—that part which lies within the Eltham County.
Stuart Road—that part which lies between Eltham Road and the Waingongoro River.

Roads Classified in Class Three

Anderson Road—the whole of its length.
Aorere Road—the whole of its length.
Auroa Road—all that part lying to the north of Stratford-Opunake Road.
Campbell Road—the whole of its length.
Clifford Road—that part which lies between Collingwood Street in the Eltham Borough and the Waingongoro River.
Cornwall Road—that part which lies between Stuart Road and the Waingongoro River.
Duthie Road—that part which lies between Eltham Road and the Stratford County boundary.
Glen Nui Road—the whole of its length.
Horoi Road—the whole of its length.
Hu Road—the whole of its length.
Maata Road—the whole of its length.
Mabey Street—the whole of its length.
Mangawhero Road—that part which lies between State Highway No. 3 (Hamilton-Woodville via New Plymouth) and Maata Road.
Mangawhero (Lake) Road—the whole of its length.
Mangawhero Road—all that part lying to the north of Stratford-Opunake Road.
Mataiwhetu Road—the whole of its length.
Matemateonga Road—the whole of its length within the Eltham County.
Melville Road—the whole of its length.
Mountain Road—that part which lies between its intersection with State Highway No. 3 (Hamilton-Woodville via New Plymouth) and the Hawera County boundary.
Neill Road—that part which lies between Manaia Road and Palmer Road.
Rawhitiroa Road—all that part which lies to the east of the point where the western boundary of part Lot 4, D.P. 388, meets the Rawhitiroa Road.
Rogers Road—the whole of its length.
Rotokare Road—that part which lies between its intersection with Fraser Road and its intersection with Campbell Road.
Rowan Road—that part which lies between Eltham Road and the Waimate West County boundary.
Sangster Road—the whole of its length.
Stuart Road—that part which lies between Eltham Road and Finnerty Road, and that part which lies between Dalziel Road and the Waingongoro River.
Tawhiti Road—the whole of its length.
Templar Street—the whole of its length.
Te Roti Road—the whole of its length.
Tirimaona Road—that part which lies between Campbell Road and the Hawera County boundary.
Wingrove Road—that part which lies between Rawhitiroa Road and the Stratford County boundary.
