NOTICE is hereby given that the GENERAL TRUST BOARD OF THE
DIOCESE OF AUCKLAND the trustee of The Ostend-Palm Beach
Church building fund, has filed in the Supreme Court at Auckland, a motion for an order approving a scheme under the
provisions of the Charitable Trusts Act 1957, altering the
conditions upon which The Ostend-Palm Beach Church Building Fund is to be held.
The scheme relates to the fund of $2,452.88 and interest
thereon held for the purpose of building an Anglican Church at
either Ostend or Palm Beach, Waiheke Island. From and after
the date on which the scheme is approved by an order made by
a Judge of the Supreme Court of New Zealand the said fund
shall be held for the purpose of repaying either in full or in
part the loan moneys at present owing on the Anglican
Vicarage on Waiheke Island and for no other purpose.
Notice is further given that the motion is to be heard at
the Supreme Court of Auckland, on Friday, the 11th day of
September 1970, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon, and any person
desiring to oppose the scheme is hereby required to give
written notice of his intention to do so, to the Registrar of
the Supreme Court at Auckland, and to the General Trust
Board of the Diocese of Auckland, at the offices of their
solicitors under-mentioned, and to the Attorney-General not
less than 7 clear days before the said date of hearing.

OTOROHANGA BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Flood Protection Renewal Loan No. 4, $13,000
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by
the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Otorohanga Borough
Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a
loan of $13,000, authorised to be raised by the Otorohanga
Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for repaying
on maturity that portion of the Flood Protection Loan 1961,
$250,000 which matured on 1 June 1970, the said Otorohanga
Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0007 cents
in the dollar upon the rateable unimproved value of all rateable
property within the Borough of Otorohanga, and that the
special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the
currency of the loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st
day of June and the 1st day of December in each and every
year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20
years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
