The Traffic (Ellesmere and Paparua Counties) Notice No. 2, 1970

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Ellesmere and Paparua Counties) Notice No. 2, 1970.

  2. The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

  3. The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 40-miles-an-hour speed limit areas for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

  4. The notice under regulation 56 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956* dated the 23rd day of March 1970†, is hereby revoked.

FIRST SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Paparua County at Lincoln:
James Street (from Boundary Road to a point 6 chains measured north-easterly generally along James Street from Boundary Road).
SITUATED within Ellesmere County at Lincoln.
Boundary Road (from James Street to a point 5 chains measured north-westerly generally along Boundary Road from James Street).
Gerald Street (from James Street to a point 4 chains measured westerly generally along Gerald Street from West Town Belt).
James Street (from Gerald Street to a point 6 chains measured north-easterly generally along James Street from Boundary Road).

SECOND SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Ellesmere County at Lincoln:
Edward Street (from James Street to a point 24 chains measured south-easterly generally along the said Edward Street from East Town Belt).
Ellesmere Junction Road (from a point 4 chains measured westerly generally along the said road from West Town Belt to a point 40 chains measured westerly generally along Ellesmere Junction Road from Springs Road).

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Thames County) Notice No. 1, 1970.

  2. The roads specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 40 miles-an-hour speed limit areas for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

  3. The warrant under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 dated the 13th day of September 1967†, which relates to Thames County at Tairua is hereby revoked.

SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Thames County at Tairua:
No. 25 State Highway (Pipiuroa-Waihi via Coromandel) (from a point 8 chains measured southerly generally along the said State highway from Ocean Beach Road to a point 24 chains measured southerly generally along the said State highway from Wharf Road).
Manaia Road (from the No. 25 State Highway (Pipiuroa-Waihi via Coromandel) to a point 43 chains measured northerly generally along Manaia Road from the said State highway).
