β¨ Motorway Declarations and Road Stopping
to Mosgiel bound traffic at a point approximately 360 ft east
of the eastern boundary of Kuremata Street where the said
motorway leaves State Highway No. 1 at Burnside, marked
on the plan hereinafter mentioned, and proceeding thence in a
generally westerly direction maintaining for its length a width
of not less than 40 ft and not more than 66 ft and terminating
in part Westland Street where the exit of the said motorway
intersects the western boundary of Runciman Street, marked on
the said plan; and, with respect to Dunedin bound traffic,
commencing at a point being the intersection of the said
motorway with the eastern boundary of Abbotsford Road
marked on the said plan and proceeding thence in a generally
easterly direction maintaining for its length a width of not less
than 40 ft and not more than 66 ft terminating at Burnside
being the junction of the exit of the said motorway with the
Dunedin bound one way road from Green Island at a point
approximately 360 ft east of the eastern boundary of Kuremata
Street; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan
marked M.O.W. 24341 (E.D. 41893) deposited in the office of
the Minister of Works at Wellington.

1947, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government,
at the request of the National Roads Board, and
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council, hereby orders and declares that the public highway
described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of
this Order in Council, be a motorway.
SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that portion of public highway in Block XIV, Waitemata
Survey District, Waitemata County, being part of the
Auckland-Kumeu Motorway, (Lincoln Road - Triangle Road
section), commencing at its junction with the eastern boundary
of Lincoln Road (formerly State Highway No. 16) and
proceeding thence in a north-westerly direction to its junction
with Triangle Road near Lincoln Park Avenue; as the same is
more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 24353
(A.D.O. 33334) deposited in the office of the Minister of
Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

this Order in Council, be a motorway.
SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that portion of public highway in Takapuna City and
Waitemata County, being part of the Northcote-Albany
Motorway (Northcote Road - Tristram Avenue section) com-
mencing at its junction with the south side of Northcote Road
in the City of Takapuna, proceeding under Northcote Road
(including connections thereto), and thence in a northerly
direction for a distance of approximately 1 mile 22 chains,
over Wairau Road, and terminating at its junction with Tris-
tram Avenue in the County of Waitomata; as the same is
more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 24354
(A.D.O. 33396) deposited in the office of the Minister of
Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

ALL that portion of highway in Manukau City and Franklin
County commencing at the point marked A on the plan
M.O.W. 24352 hereinafter mentioned, approximately 18 chains
north of Redoubt Road Underpass and proceeding thence in
a southerly direction generally for a distance of approximately
9 miles 10 chains (to include also that northbound connection
to the Great South Road shown as the Wiri turnoff on the
said plan), crossing under or over the following roads and
streets: Redoubt Road (including connections thereto), Orams
Road, Hill Road (including connections thereto), Alfriston
Road, Great South Road (including connections thereto),
Beach Road (including connections thereto), Park Estate Road
and Brown Street, and terminating at its junction with the
Great South Road and Mercer Street in the township of Drury;
as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
M.O.W. 24352 (A.D.O. 33437) deposited in the office of the
Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
