ALL that piece of land containing 1 acre 1 rood 27.9 perches, being part East Coast Main Trunk Railway situated in Block XI, Tauranga Survey District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 24077 (S.O. 44835) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 10th day of July 1970.

Defining the Boundaries of the Bay of Plenty Electric Power District

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, I, the Right Hon. Sir Herbert Richard Churton Wild, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby define the boundaries of the Bay of Plenty Electric Power District as set out in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the South Auckland and Gisborne Land Districts, the Tauranga, Rotorua, Waiapu, Waikohu, Wairoa, Whakatane, and Opotiki Counties, and the Whakatane, Kawerau, Opotiki, and Murupara Boroughs bounded by a line commencing at Trig. Station 2126, Maungapohatu, in Block XII, Ruatahuna Survey District, being a point on the south-eastern boundary of Whakatane County, and proceeding south-easterly, south-westerly, and northerly along the former Whakatane County boundary, as described in Gazette, 1962, page 867, to the intersection of a right line between Trig. Station 31, Paeroa, in Block V, Paeroa Survey District, and Trig. Station 2120, Tawhiwhau, in Block XIV, Galatea Survey District, and the production southerly of a right line between Trig. Station 18, Maungawhakamana, in Block III, Ruawahi Survey District, and Trig. Station 38, Ahiwhakamura, in Block X, Kaingaroa Survey District; thence westerly along a right line towards Trig. Station 31, aforesaid, to the eastern boundary of Section 1, Block IX, Kaingaroa Survey District; thence northerly along that boundary to its north-easternmost point; thence along a right line towards Trig. Station Te Rere on the southern boundary of Block II, Kaingaroa Survey District, to the middle of the Ngatamawahine Stream; thence north-easterly down the middle of that stream to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of part Run 54, as shown on S.O. Plan 35574; thence to and along that boundary and the eastern and northern boundaries of that run to the south-eastern boundary of part Pokohu C. 1; thence north-easterly along that boundary to its easternmost point; thence along a right line to the north-eastern corner of Block XV, Ruawahi Survey District, and along another right line to the intersection of the southern boundary of Block VII, Ruawahi Survey District, and the western boundary of Whakatane County; thence northerly along that county boundary being along a right line to Trig. Station 18, aforesaid; thence north-easterly along a right line to the south-western corner of part Allotment 63, Matata Parish (provisional State forest, Gazette, 1920, page 2107), in Block XV, Rotoma Survey District; thence northerly along the western boundaries of that allotment and part Section 15, Block XI, Rotoma Survey District (scenic reserve, Gazette, 1927, page 2430), to the southern side of No. 30 State Highway; thence northerly along a right line being the original boundary of Matata Parish to the southern boundary of Block VII, Rotoma Survey District; thence westerly, northerly generally, and westerly again along that boundary and the southern boundary of Block VI, Rotoma Survey District, to and along the southern boundary of Section 5, Block VI, aforesaid, and the generally northern shore of Lake Rotoma to the eastern boundary of Rotoiti 10A (scenic reserve, Gazette, 1964, page 2262); thence along that boundary, along a right line to and again along that eastern boundary to its northernmost point; thence along the north-eastern boundary of Rotoiti 10B and its production to the generally south-western side of the Pongakawa Valley Road; thence north-westerly along that roadside to the northernmost corner of Section 8, Block VI, aforesaid; thence along a right line to the southernmost corner of State forest, Gazette, 1938, page 1687 (formerly Hannons Road); thence along the eastern boundary of that State forest to and along the north-western boundaries of Sections 2 and 1A, Block II, Rotoma Survey District (State forest, Gazette, 1937, page 1711), and the last-mentioned boundary produced to and down the middle of the Waitahanui River to the northern boundary of Block X, Waihi South Survey District; thence easterly along that boundary and the northern boundary of Block XI, Waihi South Survey District, to the western boundary of Whakatane County; thence northerly along that boundary, being along a right line to the south-western corner of part Section 3, Block VII, Waihi South Survey District; thence northerly along the western boundary of part Section 3, aforesaid, to and along the eastern boundaries of part Lot 10 and Lot 11, part 13, 14, and 15, D.P. 8636, and Lot 6, D.P. 35929, to the southern side of No. 2 State Highway; thence northerly along a right line to and along the eastern boundary of part Lot 1, D.P. 8636, to the southern side of a public road; thence along a right line to and along the eastern boundaries of Waewaehikitia 3, 2A, 2B, and Urupa to the north-eastern corner of that Urupa; thence northerly along a right line to and along the eastern boundary of Waewaehikitia No. 1 to the shore of the Bay of Plenty; thence south-easterly and north-easterly along that shore to Potikirua in Block III, Whangaparaoa North Survey District, being the north-easternmost corner of Whangaparaoa part 2D and 2E 2B 1 Block; thence generally southerly and westerly along the eastern boundary of that block, crossing State Highway No. 35 and another intervening public road, along the north-eastern boundary of Section 1, Block I, Matakaoa West Survey District, the southern boundaries of the said Section 1 and Whangaparaoa part 2D and 2E 2B 2 Block, and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of the Whangaparaoa River, up the middle of that river to a point in line with the middle of the Mangapouri Stream, to and up the middle of that stream to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 10599 (AK), to and along that boundary, the eastern boundaries of Lot 2, D.P. 10599 (AK), Lots 3 and 4, D.P. 10600 (AK), and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of the Waikura River, down the middle of that river to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 9472 (AK), to and along that boundary and the north-eastern boundary of Te Kumi No. 1 Block to Trig. Station Pakira in Block VIII, Raukumara East Survey District, along the south-eastern boundary of Te Kumi No. 1 Block to Trig. Station 1328, Honokawa, along a right line to Trig. Station Kopua in Block V, Hikurangi Survey District, along a right line to Trig. Station Arowhana in Block IV, Arowhana Survey District, approximately 14 chains along a right line in the direction of Trig. Station 139, Tuanui-o-te-Kahakaha (in Block X, Arowhana Survey District) to intersect the north-eastern boundary of Waipaoa 1E Block; thence north-westerly generally along the north-eastern and north-western boundaries of the last-mentioned block to and along the south-western boundary of Maungawaru No. 2 and 3 Block and its production to the middle of the Motu River in Block IX, Maungawaru Survey District; thence south-westerly generally up the middle of the Motu River to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of Section 2, Block II, Otipi Survey District, across a road reserve to and along that boundary and the south-eastern boundary of Section 6, Block IV, Urutawa Survey District, the eastern boundary of Section 2, Block VIII, Urutawa Survey District, the abutment of a road reserve, again along the eastern and south-western boundary of the said Section 2, to and along the south-eastern side of a public road, to the westernmost corner of Section 5, Block VIII, Urutawa Survey District, due south across Whinray Road to and along the south-eastern boundary of Section 3, Block II, Urutawa East Survey District, to and along the eastern side of Opotiki-Matawai via Motu Road to a point in line with the southern boundary of Section 5, Block I, Urutawa East Survey District, to and along that boundary, the eastern boundaries of Sections 1 and 4, Block I, Urutawa East Survey District, the southern boundary of the last-mentioned boundary and its production to the middle of the Pakihi Stream, up the middle of that stream to a point in line with the easternmost portion of the northern boundary of Section 13, Block XIV, Urutawa Survey District, along that boundary and the generally eastern boundaries of that section and of Section 1, Block II, Motu West Survey District, to Trig. Station Pokaikiri in Block II, Motu West Survey District, along the south-eastern boundary of Section 5, Block I, Motu West Survey District, and its production across State Highway No. 2 to and along the south-eastern boundaries of Section 21, a public road, Lot 2 of Section 3, and Section 1, Block I, Motu West Survey District, the south-eastern boundaries of Oamaru part 2C Block, Section 1, Block XI, Moanui Survey District, Oamaru 1B and 1C Blocks, and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the eastern boundary of Urewera A. Block in Block X, Waioeka South Survey District, and the eastern boundary of Paharekeke Block to its intersection with a right line between Maungatapere and Maungapohatu Trig.
