The Traffic (Waipukurau County) Notice No. 1, 1970

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Waipukurau County) Notice No. 1, 1970.

2. The road specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 40-miles-an-hour speed limit area for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

3. So much of the Traffic (Waipukurau County) Notice 1961 dated the 29th day of September 1961†, under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, which relates to the road described in the Schedule hereto in Waipukurau County is hereby revoked.

SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Waipukurau County adjacent to Waipukurau Borough:

No. 52 State Highway (Waipukurau-Masterton via Porangahau) (from the southern boundary of Waipukurau Borough to a point 32 chains measured south-westerly generally along the said State highway from the said boundary).

Cancellation of the Vesting in the Paparua County Council and Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby cancels the vesting in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Paparua, and revokes the reservation for recreation purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Declaration That Part of the Hutchinson Domain Shall be a Recreation Reserve and Revocation of the Reservation Over the Said Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that that part of the Hutchinson Domain described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part III of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, and shall be deemed to be a recreation reserve subject to Part II of the said Act, and further revokes the reservation for recreation purposes over the said reserve.

Revocation of the Reservation Over Reserves Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation as reserves for recreation purposes over the lands described in the Schedule hereto, and further declares that the said lands may be disposed of by the Piako County Council at current market value, the proceeds from any such sale to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other recreation reserves under the control of the council, or in or towards the purchase of other land for recreation purposes.
