The Road Classification (Waimarino County) Notice No. 1, 1970
Pursuant to regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1969*, the Secretary for Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE
- This notice may be cited as the Road Classification
(Waimarino County) Notice No. 1, 1970. - The Waimarino County's proposed classification of the
roads as set out in the Schedule hereto is hereby approved. - So much of the notice dated the 15th day of May 1952†
which relates to the classification of the roads described in the
Schedule hereto is hereby revoked.

Roads Classified in Class Two
Karioi Station, Mangaturuturu East (from its junction with
State Highway No. 4 (Te Kuiti - Wanganui via Raetihi) at
Pokaka), Middle (sealed portion from its junction with Ohura
Road), Ngamokai (to McDonnell's boundary); Oruakukuru
East (sealed portion from its junction with Wangaehu Valley
Road), Oruakukuru West (sealed portion from its junction
with State Highway No. 4 (Te Kuiti - Wanganui via Raetihi)),
Pakihi, Rangataua Township (all roads in the township).

Pursuant to regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1969*, the Secretary for Transport hereby gives the following notice.

(Tuapeka County) Notice No. 1, 1970. - The Tuapeka County Council’s proposed classification
of the roads as set out in the Schedule hereto is hereby
approved. - So much of the notice dated the 21st day of August 1950†
as relates to the classification of the roads described in the
Schedule hereto is hereby revoked.

Approval of Swivelling Headlamps
Pursuant to regulation 49 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*,
the Secretary for Transport hereby approves for use under the
aforesaid regulations swivelling headlamps as described in the
Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
Not more than two headlamps which may be part of a dual
headlight system and which are rotated by the movement of,
although not necessarily through the same angle as, the front
wheels of the vehicle when turned for the purpose of steering
the vehicle: Provided that such headlamps otherwise comply
with the requirements of subclause (1) of regulation 35 of the
said regulations when the front wheels of the vehicle are in the
straight ahead position and that the centre line of the main
beam of light from each such lamp does not rise above a plane
which passes through the centre of the lamp and is parallel to
the surface on which the vehicle is standing for the whole arc
through which each such headlamp can be rotated.

Notice of Varied Hours for Sale of Liquor at the Onetangi Hotel, Waiheke Island
Pursuant to section 221A (16) of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962,
as inserted by the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act (No. 2)
1967, I, Eric Alderson Missen, Secretary for Justice, hereby
give notice that the Auckland Licensing Committee on 15 May
1970, made an order fixing hours other than the usual hours
for opening and closing the Onetangi Hotel, Waiheke Island,
for sale of liquor to the public, namely, that such hotel
premises be authorised to be open, between the hours of 9 a.m.
to 8 p.m., for the period from the 1st day of April to the 30th
day of September and between the hours of 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.,
for the period from the 1st day of October to the 31st day of
March, each year, Mondays to Saturdays inclusive.
