That, for the purpose of providing the principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of $1,750,000, known as the General Extension and Improvement Loan 1970, of $1,750,000, for the purpose of further reticulation of the Board's area, extending, strengthening and reorganising the supply within that area, the Auckland Electric-power Board doth hereby make and levy a special rate of decimal nought one three three nine (0.1339) cents in the dollar ($) on the rateable value on the basis of the capital value of all rateable property in the Auckland Electric-power District, comprising the Cities of Auckland, Manukau, and Papatoetoe, together with the Boroughs of Ellerslie, Howick, Mount Albert, Mount Eden, Mount Roskill, Mount Wellington, Newmarket, Onehunga, One Tree Hill, Otahuhu, and Papakura, and the County of Waiheke; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 31st day of March in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 12 years or until the loan is fully paid off.

DARGAVILLE BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

THAT, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and to each and every power it thereunto enabling, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $4,000, described as Pensioner Housing Additional Loan 1970, and authorised to be raised by the Dargaville Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of meeting additional costs of purchasing land and erecting accommodation for old people, the body corporate called the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Dargaville hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought one one of a cent (.011c) in the dollar on the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Dargaville, on the basis of the unimproved value; such special rate to be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and to be payable on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

MASTERTON BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Pensioners Housing Loan No. 4, $15,800, 1970

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Masterton Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $15,800 authorised to be raised by the Masterton Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting accommodation for old people, the said Masterton Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0085c in the dollar upon the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Masterton; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of June and the 1st day of December in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years or until the loan is fully paid off.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Retirement Flats Loan 1970—$18,500

“PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Blenheim Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of eighteen thousand five hundred dollars ($18,500) authorised to be raised by the Blenheim Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting flats for pensioners, the said Blenheim Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of seventy-two ten-thousandths of a cent (.0072c) in the dollar on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property within the Borough of Blenheim; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of forty (40) years, or until the loan is fully paid off”.

I hereby certify that the above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Blenheim Borough Council held on the 13th day of May 1970.

PAPARUA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Paparua County Council hereby resolved as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $140,000 authorised to be raised by the Paparua County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of making alterations and additions to the County Council offices at Stockburn, the said Paparua County Council makes a special rate of 0.01236c in the dollar upon the rateable value of all the rateable property within the Paparua County; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years or until the loan is fully paid off.”
