NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding up of
the above-named company by the Supreme Court was on the
18th day of May 1970 presented to the said Court by K. H.
McCONNEL LIMITED a duly incorporated company having its
registered office at Hamilton. AND that the said petition is
directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Wellington on
the 17th day of June 1970 at 10 o'clock in the forenoon; and
any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to
support or oppose the making of an order on the said petition
may appear at the time of hearing in person or by his counsel
for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished
by the undersigned to any creditor or contributory of the said
company requiring a copy on payment of the regulated charge
for the same.

WAIPA COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Waipa County Council
proposes to execute a certain public work, to wit, the construction of a public road, for which purpose the land described
in the Schedules hereto requires to be taken by the Council
under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928.

A plan of the land required to be taken, as aforesaid, lies
open to public inspection at the office of the Council, in Bank
Street, Te Awamutu.

Every person affected is hereby called upon to set forth,
in writing, any objection he may wish to make to the execution
of such work or to the taking of such land, not being an
objection to the amount or payment of compensation, and to
send such written objection to the Waipa County Council
within 40 days from the first publication of this notice. A
public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector
otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the
time and place of the hearing.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

NOTICE is hereby given that the Whangarei City Council pro-
poses, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to
execute certain public work, namely, the widening of the inter-
section of Kamo Road and Nixon Street, in the City of
Whangarei; and, for this purpose, the said Whangarei City
Council proposes to take, under the provisions of the said
Public Works Act 1928, the land described in the Schedule
hereto, for street. Notice is further given that plans of the
land so required to be taken are deposited in the public office
of the Town Clerk to the said council, situated in Bank Street,
Whangarei, and are there available for public inspection,
without fee, by all persons during office hours. All persons
affected by the execution of the said work or by the taking of
such land, who have any objections to the execution of the
said public work or to the taking of the said land, must state
their objections, in writing, and send the same, within forty
(40) days from the first publication of this notice, to the Town
Clerk at the Council Chambers, Municipal Building, Bank
Street, Whangarei.
