PURSUANT to section 149 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the Franklin County Council stopping the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto.

Authorising the Northland Harbour Board to Reclaim Endowment Land in Whangarei Harbour

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 18th day of May 1970
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 185 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Northland Harbour Board to reclaim from the Limeburner Creek, in the Whangarei Harbour, an area of 4 acres 13 perches, more or less; as shown, edged red, on plan M.D. 13745 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington. This reclamation is for the use or convenience of exporters, and is to be completed by 1 November 1971.

Authorising the Taranaki Harbours Board to Reclaim Endowment Land in the Port of Taranaki

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 175 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Taranaki Harbours Board to reclaim from Port Taranaki an area of 9 acres, more or less; as shown, edged red, on plan M.D. 13780 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington.

PURSUANT to the Waterfront Industry Act 1953, the Minister of Labour hereby appoints the following persons to be the Port Conciliation Committee for the Port of Timaru for the term of 1 year expiring on the 31st day of March 1971:

Henry James Roberts Somerville, J.P., Chairman;
Durham Robert Dowell, Deputy Chairman;
David Norris Gillespie, James Elliot Rose, and Noel Morrison Stray (nominated by the New Zealand Port Employers’ Association (Incorporated)); and
Thomas Keith Cullen, Bernard John Hargadon, and Lloyd Row Jenkin (nominated by the Timaru Waterfront Workers’ Industrial Union of Workers).

Robert Edgar Edwards, Miles Major Mayall, and John Frederick Poole (nominated by the New Zealand Port Employers’ Association (Incorporated)); and
John Stewart Anderson, Charles Ernest Boyd, and Alfred George Lovelock (nominated by the Dunedin Waterfront Workers’ Industrial Union of Workers).
