Revoking Declaration of State Highway and Declaring Public Highway to be State Highway
Pursuant to section 11 of the National Roads Act 1953, the National Roads Board, acting with the written approval of the Minister of Works, hereby gives notice that the notice dated 22 April 1963, published in Gazette, 2 May 1963, No. 26, p. 593, is hereby revoked in so far as it affects the portion of State highway described in the First Schedule hereto; and that the public highway described in the Second Schedule hereto is declared to be State highway within the meaning, and for the purposes, of the National Roads Act 1953.
FIRST SCHEDULE
ROADS Council District No. 2A: Franklin County: No. 22 State Highway (Runciman - Te Uku)-commencing at a point opposite the northernmost corner of Lot 1, D.P. 20381, and proceeding in a south-westerly direction generally for a distance of 50 chains approximately, and terminating at a point opposite the south-eastern corner of Lot 1, D.P. 12364; as delineated on plan M.O.W. 15733 deposited in the office of the Ministry of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.
SECOND SCHEDULE
ROADS Council District No. 2A: Franklin County: No. 22 State Highway (Runciman - Te Uku)-commencing at a point opposite the northernmost corner of part Lot 34, D.R.O. 35, and proceeding in a south-westerly direction generally for a distance of 85 chains approximately, and terminating at No. 22 State Highway, opposite the south-eastern corner of Lot 1, D.P. 12364; as delineated on plan M.O.W. 15733 deposited in the office of the Ministry of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Maori Land Development Notice
WHEREAS by virtue of the notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto the land described in that notice was declared to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953; and whereas it is desired to release a certain parcel of that land from the provisions of the said Part XXIV:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as follows.
NOTICE

This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Whangarei 1970, No. 9.

The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby amended by omitting all reference to the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.

The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

Rock Oyster Farming Lease
THE Minister of Marine has granted, pursuant to the Rock Oyster Farming Act 1964, to Bryan Leeston Sherwin and Dorothy Sherwin, both of Wellsford, the lease of 5 acres of sea bed (lease No. 132) in the Oruawharo River in Kaipara Harbour, for the cultivation of rock oysters.

PURSUANT to the Rock Oyster Farming Act 1964, the Minister of Marine has granted to John Henry Evans, of Russell, the lease of 4 acres of sea bed (lease No. 152) in Frenchmans Creek, Waikare Inlet, Bay of Islands, for the cultivation of rock oysters.
