The Traffic (Waitemata County) Notice 1970
PURSUANT to subclause 5 of regulation 18 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Manukau City) Notice 1970.

The Minister of Transport hereby consents to the erection of flashing red lights at the places described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of traffic control, in terms of regulation 18, subclause 4, of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

SITUATED within Waitemata County, at the Orewa Fire Station, at the points marked on the plan TT. 4027 deposited in the Head Office of the Ministry of Transport, Wellington.

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Hawke’s Bay County) Notice No. 3, 1970.

The roads specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The notice under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949, dated the 17th day of March 1958*, which relates to Haumoana Township, in Hawke’s Bay County, is hereby revoked.

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Taupo Borough) Notice No. 1, 1970.

The roads specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The notice under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, dated the 24th day of January 1968*, which relates to Taupo Borough, at Nukuhau, is hereby revoked.

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Rotorua City and Rotorua County) Notice No. 1, 1970.

The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 40-miles-per-hour speed limit areas for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

The notice under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, dated the 19th day of August 1965†, which relates to Rotorua City, is hereby revoked.

SITUATED within Rotorua City:
No. 5 State Highway (Tirau-Napier via Rotorua and Taupo) (from the northern boundary of Rotorua City to a point 1 chain measured north-westerly generally along the said highway from Kawaha Point Road; and from the southern boundary of Rotorua City to a point 23 chains measured north-easterly generally along the said highway from Old Taupo Road).
