Notice of Intention to Take Land in Block VIII, Mangamuka
Survey District, Hokianga County, for Road (Mangamuka
Section of State Highway No. 1)

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions
of the Public Works Act 1928, to take for road the land
described in the Schedule hereto: and notice is hereby further
given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is
deposited in the post office at Mangamuka and is there open
for inspection; that all persons affected by the taking of the
said land should, if they have any objections to the taking
of the said land, not being objections to the amount or
payment of compensation, set forth the same, in writing, and
send the written objection, within 40 days of the first publi-
cation of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington;
and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this
notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless
the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be
advised of the time and place of the hearing.

ALL that piece of land containing 1 rood 20.7 perches situated

Amending a Notice Proclaiming Land as Road and Road
Closed and Vested in Block III, Kapiti Survey District, Hutt
County

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of
Works hereby amends the notice dated the 4th day of Decem-
ber 1968 and published in Gazette, 16 January 1969, No. 1,
at page 17, and lodged for registration as No. 773742, Welling-
ton Land Registry, proclaiming land as road and road closed
and vested in Block III, Kapiti Survey District, Hutt County,
by deleting therefrom all reference whatsoever to memoranda
of mortgage No. 354359 and 370690 and substituting therefor
memorandum of mortgage No. 754951, Wellington Land
Registry.

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act
1948, the Minister of Works hereby proclaims as road the
land described in the First Schedule hereto; also hereby
proclaims as closed the road described in the Second Schedule
hereto and declares that the road sixthly described in the said
Second Schedule shall, when so closed, be incorporated in
pastoral lease P. 267, held from Her Majesty the Queen by
Robert William James Munro, of Omarama, farmer, and Jessie
Lena Munro, his wife, and recorded in register book No. A.
2/1299, Otago Land Registry, subject to memorandum of
mortgage No. 117265, Otago Land Registry, and subject also
to electricity agreement No. 261290, Otago Land Registry; also
hereby declares that the road seventhly described in the said
Second Schedule shall, when so closed, be incorporated in
renewable lease R.L.F. 877, held from Her Majesty the Queen
by Samuel Gladstone Purvis, of Omarama, sheep farmer, and
Dorothy Phyllis Purvis, his wife, and recorded in register book,
Volume 408, folio 38, Otago Land Registry, subject to memo-
