To all unto whom these presents shall come, and to:
ROBIN BRUNSKILL COOKE, Esquire, Q.C., of Wellington;
HILTON JAMES BARRETT, Esquire, of Auckland;
ALISTER MURRAY LINTON, Esquire, C.B.E., of Rotorua;
IAN BRAMPTON REYNOLDS, Esquire, of Auckland;
JOHN DICK WALKER, Esquire, of Wellington; and
PHILIP MAXWELL MACSHANE, Esquire, of Christchurch:
GREETING:
WHEREAS, by Order in Council made on the 20th day of April 1970, you the said Robin Brunkill Cooke, Hilton James Barrett, Alister Murray Linton, Ian Brampton Reynolds, and John Dick Walker were appointed to be a Commission to inquire into and report upon certain matters relating to housing: And whereas it is desirable that you the said Philip Maxwell MacShane be appointed to be an additional member of the said Commission:
Now, therefore, pursuant to the Commissions of Inquiry Act 1908, I, Sir Herbert Richard Churton Wild, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby appoint you the said Philip Maxwell MacShane to be a member of the said Commission:
And it is hereby declared that all acts and things done and decisions made by the said Commission or any of its members, in the exercise of its or their powers, before the making of this order shall be deemed to have been made and done by the Commission or its members, as the case may be, as reconstituted by this order, and as if you the said Philip Maxwell MacShane had originally been appointed to be a member of the said Commission:
And I hereby confirm the said Order in Council made on the 20th day of April 1970
save as modified by this order.

The Land and Income Tax Payment Order 1970
ARTHUR PORRITT, Governor-General ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 27th day of April 1970
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Land and Income Tax Act 1954, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER

  1. This order may be cited as the Land and Income Tax Payment Order 1970.
  2. Expressions used in this order have the same meanings as in the Land and Income Tax Act 1954.
  3. This order applies to:
    (a) Land tax for the year of assessment which commenced on the 1st day of April 1970; and
    (b) Income tax payable for that year of assessment on income derived (or deemed to have been derived) during the income year, which commenced on the 1st day of April 1969 byβ€”
    (i) Every subsisting company otherwise than as trustee or agent:
    (ii) Every public authority otherwise than as trustee or agent:
    (iii) Every Maori authority.
  4. Land tax shall be due and payable in one sum on the 7th day of October 1970.
  5. Income tax to which this order applies shall be due and payable in one sum on the 7th day of February 1971.
  6. Land tax and income tax to which this order applies shall be payable at any office of the Inland Revenue Department, or at any money-order post office.

    Authorising the Northland Harbour Board to Reclaim Crown Foreshore in the Tutukaka Harbour
    RICHARD WILD, Administrator of the Government ORDER IN COUNCIL
    At the Government House at Wellington this 11th day of May 1970
    Present:
    HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL
    PURSUANT to section 175 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Northland Harbour Board to reclaim from the Tutukaka Harbour an area of 2 acres, more or less; as shown, edged red, on plan M.D. 13775 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington.

    Authorising the Thames County Council to Reclaim Crown Foreshore in the Tairua Harbour
    RICHARD WILD, Administrator of the Government ORDER IN COUNCIL
    At the Government House at Wellington this 11th day of May 1970
    Present:
    HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL
    PURSUANT to section 175 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Thames County Council to reclaim from the Tairua Harbour an area of 4 acres 2 roods 10 perches, more or less; as shown, coloured blue, on plan M.D. 13671 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington.

    Validating Reclamation in Rautawa Creek, Kawakawa Bay and Vesting in Manukau City Council
    RICHARD WILD, Administrator of the Government ORDER IN COUNCIL
    At the Government House at Wellington this 11th day of May 1970
    Present:
    HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL
    PURSUANT to sections 175 (2), 175B (2), and 265 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby validates the reclamation of an area of 27.7 perches of Crown foreshore and creek bed in Rautawa Creek, Kawakawa Bay, as shown, edged red, on the plan marked M.D. 13763 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, and hereby vests the said area in the Manukau City Council as a recreation reserve, subject to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953.
    The District Land Registrar is hereby authorised to make such entries in his register as are necessary to give effect to this order.

    RICHARD WILD, Administrator of the Government ORDER IN COUNCIL
    At the Government House at Wellington this 4th day of May 1970
    Present:
    HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL
    PURSUANT to section 149 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the Waipa County Council stopping the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto.
