A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 25th day of May 1970.

Land Set Apart as Provisional State Forest Declared to be Subject to the Land Act 1948

———

RICHARD WILD, Administrator of the Government

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to subsection (2) of section 19 of the Forests Act 1949, I, the Right Hon. Sir Herbert Richard Churton Wild, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, acting on the joint recommendation of the Minister of Lands and of the Minister of Forests, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being portion of provisional State forest reserve, set apart by Proclamation dated the 17th day of November 1922 and published in Gazette, 23 November 1922, Volume III, page 3070, is required for settlement purposes; and, in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, such land shall, from and after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forest land and shall become Crown land, available for sale, lease, reservation, or other disposition, under the provisions of the Land Act 1948.

PART Section 4, Block V, Otama Survey District: area, 63 acres 1 rood 35 perches, more or less.

As shown on the plan marked L. and S. 10/92/13, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington, and thereon edged red (S.O. Plan 45158).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 14th day of May 1970.

Allocating Land Acquired for Railway Purposes Near Mangamaiare to the Purposes of Road

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, the Right Hon. Sir Herbert Richard Churton Wild, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the Gazette, become road; and that the said road shall be under the control of the Pahiatua County Council and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.
