NOTICE OF WRITING-OFF OF SHARE PREMIUM ACCOUNT
IN THE MATTER of the Companies Act 1955 and IN THE MATTER of Amalgamated Pacific Industries Limited:
NOTICE is hereby given that the order of the Supreme Court dated the 30th day of April 1970 confirming the reduction of capital of the above-named company by applying the sum of $213,968 being the amount standing to the credit of the share premium account in partial payment of a tax free payment to shareholders and by writing off the share premium account accordingly and the minute approved by the Court, showing with respect to the capital of the company as altered the several particulars required by the above statute, was registered by the Registrar of Companies on the 4th day of May 1970.
The said minute is in the words and figures following:
“The sum of $213,968 being the amount standing to the credit of the Share Premium Account of the Company has been applied in partial payment of a tax free payment to shareholders and the Share Premium Account has been written off accordingly.”

NOTICE is hereby given that the order of the Supreme Court dated the 30th day of April 1970 confirming the reduction of capital of the above-named company from $2,000,000 to $1,000,000 and the minute approved by the Court, showing with respect to the capital of the company as altered the several particulars required by the above statute, was registered by the Registrar of Companies on the 4th day of May 1970.
The said minute is in the words and figures following:
“The capital of Amalgamated Pacific Industries Limited is $1,000,000 divided into 2,000,000 shares of 50 cents each of which 1,641,153 shares are issued and fully paid, the said capital having been reduced from $2,000,000 divided into 2,000,000 shares of $1.00 each, of which 1,641,153 shares were issued and fully paid.”

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, and the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, and their respective amendments, notice is hereby given that the Wellington City Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-named Acts and all other Acts, powers, and authorities enabling it in that behalf, to execute a certain public work, namely, land for street in Adelaide Road in the City of Wellington; and, for the purpose of that public work, the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land which is required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council, in the Municipal Offices Building, Mercer Street, in the said city, and is there open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours; and that any person affected by the execution of the said public work or the taking of the said land should, if he has any objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, send his written objection, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the Wellington City Council, addressed to the Town Clerk at his said office. And notice is hereby further given that, if any objection is made, as aforesaid, a public hearing of that objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of that hearing; and at that hearing each objector will be advised of the reasons for the proposed taking.
