Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 13) 1970
PURSUANT to regulation 16 of the Import Control Regulations 1964*, the Minister of Customs hereby gives notice as follows:

  1. (a) This notice may be cited as the Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 13) 1970.
    (b) This notice shall come into force on 1 July 1970.
  2. Goods of the classes specified and for the purposes of the Customs Tariff falling within the Tariff items in the Schedule hereto,
    imported from and being the produce or manufacture of any country, are hereby exempted from the requirement of a licence under the said
    regulations.

    Licensing USAF Det 1, 18th Surveillance Squadron to Occupy
    a Site for a Moored Pontoon at Lake Tekapo
    PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine
    hereby licenses and permits USAF Det 1, 18th Surveillance
    Squadron (hereinafter called “the licensee”, which term shall
    include its administrators, successors, or assigns, unless the
    context requires a different construction) to use and occupy
    a part of the foreshore and bed of Lake Tekapo, as shown on
    plan marked M.D. 13716 and deposited in the office of the
    Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of main-
    taining thereon a moored pontoon, as shown on the said plan,
    such licence to be held and an enjoyed by the licensee upon
    and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Sched-
    ule hereto.
    SCHEDULE
    CONDITIONS
    1.This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regu-
    lations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so
    far as applicable, apply hereto.
  3. The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st
    day of April 1970.
  4. The annual sum payable by the licensee shall be 10c,
    payable on demand.

    The Judicature Act 1908—Transfer of Records of Abolished
    Court
    WHEREAS His Excellency the Governor-General has abolished
    the office of the Supreme Court at Westport on and from the
    1st day of May 1970:
    Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (3) of section 23A
    of the Judicature Act 1908, as inserted by section 2 (1) of
    the Judicature Amendment Act 1952, I hereby direct that all
    documents, books, and records in the office so abolished shall
    be delivered, on the 1st day of May 1970, or as soon there-
    after as may be practicable, to the Registrar of the Supreme
    Court at Greymouth.

    of Registration of Industrial Union
    PURSUANT to section 85 of the Industrial Conciliation and
    Arbitration Act 1954, it is hereby notified that the registration
    of the Thomas Ballinger and Co. Ltd. Industrial Union of
    Employers, Registered No. 142, situated at 13 Ghuznee Street,
    Wellington, is hereby cancelled as from the date of the pub-
    lication of this notice in the Gazette.
