Declaring Land Taken for Buildings of the General Government in Block XIV, Ohinewairua Survey District, Rangitikei County
Pursuant to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for buildings of the General Government from and after the 11th day of May 1970.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
All that piece of land containing 1 rood 28.6 perches situated in the Wellington R.D., being part Section 106, Block XIV, Ohinewairua Survey District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 24092 (S.O. 27929) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

The Wairarapa Electric Power Board Water Power and Electric Lines Licence 1964, Amendment No. 1
Pursuant to the Electricity Act 1968, the Minister of Electricity hereby amends the Wairarapa Electric Power Board Water Power and Electric Lines Licence 1964, as follows.

In clause 2 of the said licence, after the words “in the First Schedule hereto” the words “and also to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the electric lines described in the First Schedule hereto” are hereby inserted.

In the First Schedule to the said licence the following heading and paragraphs are hereby inserted:
"LINES AUTHORISED
"1. A line commencing at the boundary of the Wairarapa Electric Power District and proceeding in an easterly direction across the Mataikona River into Akitio District, Block III, Castlepoint Survey District.
"2. A line commencing at the boundary of the Wairarapa Electric Power District and proceeding in a northerly direction in Part 186, Block XVI, Puketoi Survey District.
"3. A line commencing at the boundary of the Wairarapa Electric Power District and proceeding in a north-easterly direction in Section 7, Block IV, Mikimiki Survey District.
"4. A line commencing at the boundary of the Wairarapa Electric Power District and proceeding in a northerly direction in Section 28, Block V, Kopuaranga Survey District.
"5. Lines and associated electric works for the supply of electricity to consumers connected to the lines hereinbefore described; the aforesaid lines being more particularly shown, coloured red, on the plan marked N.Z.E.D. 796 deposited in the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington."

The electric lines licences granted by the following Orders in Council are hereby revoked, the consent of the licensee having been given pursuant to section 22 of the Electricity Act 1968:

An Order in Council dated 7 February 1956, authorising Charles Thomas Richardson, of Masterton, farmer, to erect and use certain electric lines in the County of Eketahuna (Gazette, 16 February 1956, p. 186).

An Order in Council dated 19 December 1951, authorising Owen Welch, of Mount Bruce, Masterton, farmer, to erect and use certain electric lines in the County of Mauriceville (Gazette, 10 January 1952, p. 8).

Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work at Taumarunui and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land
Pursuant to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Railways hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land, subject to the Land Act 1948, as from the 11th day of May 1970.

Cancellation of the Vesting in the Bluff Borough Council and Change of the Purpose of a Reserve
Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby cancels the vesting in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Bluff, and changes the purpose of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto from a reserve for water conservation purposes to a reserve for scenic purposes.
