APPLICATION FOR A LICENCE FOR A WATER RACE

ARTHUR Hallam Gresham, of Christchurch, dentist, hereby gives notice that he has applied for a licence for a water race commencing at a point in Cosgroves Creek (being the creek nearest Cowcliffe Hill on the east side) about one-quarter of 1 mile up from the crossing of the said creek and State Highway No. 6, and about one and three-quarters of 1 mile below the intake of Water Race No. 731, held by Peter John Anderson, running in a northerly direction through Peter John Anderson’s freehold Section 49, Block 1, Kawarau District, Peter John Anderson’s leasehold run 3450, and Section 46, Block 1, Kawarau District, of John George Anderson and Frances Macintosh Anderson, and terminating at the freehold Lot 1, Deposited Plan 9947, of the applicant.

The application and all objections thereto will be heard on Tuesday, the 12th day of May 1970, at 10 a.m., at the Warden’s Court at Cromwell; and all objections must be filed in the Registrar’s office and notified to the applicant or his solicitors at least 3 days before the time so appointed.
