Consenting to Raising of Loans by Certain Local Authorities
Pursuant to section 3 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 (as amended by section 3 (1) of the Local Authorities Loans Amendment Act 1967), the undersigned Assistant Secretary to the Treasury, acting under powers delegated to the Secretary to the Treasury by the Minister of Finance, hereby consents to the borrowing by the local authorities mentioned in the Schedule hereto of the whole or any part of the respective amounts specified in that Schedule.

Cancellation of Registration as a Teacher
Pursuant to section 135 (1) of the Education Act 1964, the name of Raymond Walter Heenan has been removed from the Teachers Register and his teacher's certificate has been cancelled.

Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act 1954-Proposed Cancellation of Registration of Industrial Union
Pursuant to section 85 of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act 1954, it is hereby notified that the registration of the Patea Freezing Workers' Industrial Union of Workers, Registered No. 2047, situated at 4 Middlesex Street, Patea, will, unless cause to the contrary is shown, be cancelled on the expiration of 6 weeks from the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette.

The Standards Act 1965-Draft Amendment to New Zealand Standard Specification
Pursuant to subsection (3) of section 23 of the Standards Act 1965, notice is hereby given that the following draft amendment is being circulated:

Number and Description of Draft
D 146 Draft amendment to NZS 1678:1962 Safety requirements for electric mains supplied radio or other electronic apparatus for acoustic or visual reproduction.
NOTE-This amendment, when issued, will permit the earthing of headphone terminals and the use of transformerless output circuits on reproducing apparatus which is effectively isolated from the supply mains.
All persons who may be affected by this amendment and who desire to comment thereon may, on application, obtain copies on loan from the Standards Association of New Zealand, New Zealand Display Centre Building, Sturdee Street (or Private Bag), Wellington.
The closing date for the receipt of comment is 30 April 1970.
