NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROAD

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work, namely, the construction of a road; and, for the purposes of that public work, the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the office of the Waikato County Council, Grey Street, Hamilton East, and is there open for inspection; that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same, in writing, and send the written objection, within 40 days of the first publication of this notice, to the Waikato County Council, at Hamilton East; and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the Council meeting at which the hearing will be held.

SCHEDULE

LAND TO BE TAKEN FOR ROAD

ALL those pieces of land more particularly described as follows:

First, two roods thirty-seven perches (2R. 37.0P.), being part Allotment 188A, Whangamarino Parish, situated in Block XIV, Piako Survey District, land registration district of South Auckland, Waikato County; shown, coloured yellow, on S.O. Plan 44174.

Secondly, thirteen decimal one perches (13.1P.), being part Allotment 189A, Whangamarino Parish, situated in Block XIV, Piako Survey District, land registration district of South Auckland, Waikato County; shown, coloured blue, on S.O. Plan 44174.

MOUNT ALBERT BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

CERTIFIED copy of resolution making special rate as security for the Mount Albert Waterworks Redemption Loan No. 2, 1969, of $8,000, passed by the Mount Albert Borough Council at a meeting held on the 10th day of March 1970.

"That, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and of every other power in that behalf enabling it, the Mount Albert Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of $8,000, known as the Waterworks Redemption Loan No. 2, 1969, of $8,000, for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Waterworks Loan 1958, of $205,000, which matures on 29 March 1970, the Mount Albert Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal nought nought one five (.0015) of a cent in the dollar on the rateable value on the basis of the capital value of all rateable property in the Borough of Mount Albert; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 31st day of March in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 10 years or until the loan is fully paid off."

CERTIFIED copy of resolution making special rate as security for the Mount Albert Argyle Street Extension Loan 1970, of $150,000, passed by the Mount Albert Borough Council at a special meeting held on the 24th day of March 1970:

"That, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and of every other power in that behalf enabling it, the Mount Albert Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of $150,000, known as the Argyle Street Extension Loan 1970, of $150,000, for the purpose of extending Argyle Street and purchasing property therefor, the Mount Albert Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal nought one eight two of a cent (.0182c) in the dollar on the rateable value on the basis of the capital value of all rateable property in the Borough of Mount Albert, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 31st day of March in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 20 years or until the loan is fully paid off."

ROTORUA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Rural Housing Loan No. 6, 1970-$70,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Rotorua County Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $70,000 authorised to be raised by the Rotorua County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of making advances to farmers in terms of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Rotorua County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.02084c in the dollar upon the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property in the whole of the County of Rotorua; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 35 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of a resolution of the Rotorua County Council passed on the 24th day of March 1970.

TAUPO BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

A.C. Baths Supplementary Loan 1969, $11,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Taupo Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of eleven thousand dollars, authorised to be raised by the Taupo Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing for increase in costs on the original A.C. Baths Development Loan 1968, of $112,000, the said Taupo Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought one nought nine cents in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Taupo, comprising the whole of the Borough of Taupo; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
