is located in the rural zone.

The legal description of the land is approximately 2 roods
24 poles, being part of Section 48, Block VII, and part of
Section 33, Block VI, Shotover Survey District, and being
part of the land comprised in certificates of title, Volume 127,
folio 246, and Volume 389, folio 194, Otago Registry; subject to survey.

The application may be examined at the office of the
Secretary of the Queenstown-Wakatipu Combined Planning
Committee, Borough Council Chambers, Ballarat Street,
Queenstown, during normal office hours, and any person or
body affected may object to the application by notice in
writing delivered to the Secretary, Queenstown-Wakatipu
Combined Planning Committee, P.O. Box 41, Queenstown,
not later than 4 p.m. on the 24th day of April 1970.

Every objector shall state the grounds of the objection
and whether the objector wishes to be heard by the Committee in support of his objection.

NOTICE OF RESULT OF POLL ON LOAN PROPOSAL FOR TITIRANGI COUNTY TOWN DEVELOPMENT LOAN

PURSUANT to section 38 of the Local Authorities Loans Act
1956, notice is hereby given that a poll of the ratepayers of
the Titirangi County Town, taken on 14 March 1970, on the
proposal of the above-named local authority to raise a loan
of $400,000, to be known as the Titirangi County Town Development Loan, for the purpose of constructing footpaths
and roads and kerb and channel in the Titirangi County Town
resulted as follows:

The number of votes recorded for the proposal was ......... 435
The number of votes recorded against the proposal was .. 570
The number of informal votes ............................... 2

I therefore declare that the proposal was rejected.

MINING ACT 1926

NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR WATER RACE

ANTHONY John O'Connell, of Macraes, miner, gives notice
that he has applied to the Warden of the Otago Mining
District, at Cromwell, for a water-race licence to use two
heads of water from the Highlay Stream. The race commences
in the Highlay Stream, approximately ⅜ mile upstream from
the boundary of Section 3, Block VII, and Section 1, Block VIII, Highlay District, and from thence downstream some
2½ miles to the Deep Dell Creek, where the race terminates.
The application will be heard at the Warden's Court, Crom-
well, at 10 a.m. on the 14th day of April 1970. Objections
must be filed in the Registrar's office and notified to the
applicants at least 3 days before the time so appointed.
