Declaring Leasehold Estates in Land Taken for the Use, Convenience, or Enjoyment of a Road in Block VI, Kurow Survey District

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the leasehold estate in the land first described in the Schedule hereto, held from Her Majesty the Queen by Otematata Station Limited, a duly incorporated company having its registered office at Dunedin, under and by virtue of lease in perpetuity No. 1427, recorded in register book, Volume 138, folio 197, Otago Land Registry, and the leasehold estate in the land secondly described in the said Schedule, held from Her Majesty the Queen by Otematata Station Limited, aforesaid, under and by virtue of lease in perpetuity No. 1445, recorded in register book, Volume 145, folio 54, Otago Land Registry, are hereby taken for the use, convenience, or enjoyment of a road from and after the 9th day of March 1970.

Declaring Land Taken, Subject to Certain Rights, for Soil Conservation and River Control Purposes and to be Crown Land in Block XI, Rangiriri Survey District, Waikato County

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby (a) declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken, subject to the rights of entry and other rights created by conveyance 2881F (F. 2/786), lease 143598 (R. 63/187), and conveyance 250026 (R. 262/490), South Auckland Land Registry, for soil conservation and river control purposes from and after the 9th day of March 1970; and (b) further declares the land described in the said Schedule to be Crown land for the purposes of the Land Act 1948, as from the 9th day of March 1970, subject to the said rights of entry and other rights.
