TAUPO BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Water Supply Improvement Loan 1969—$195,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Taupo Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of one hundred and ninety-five thousand dollars authorised to be raised by the Taupo Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of improving and upgrading supply and distribution of water, the said Taupo Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of nought decimal one five six five cents in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Taupo, comprising the whole of the Borough of Taupo; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
I certify that the foregoing is a true copy of a resolution passed by the Taupo Borough Council at its meeting held on Tuesday, the 27th day of January 1970.

HAWKE’S BAY ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hawke’s Bay Electric-power Board hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on a loan of eight hundred and thirty thousand dollars ($830,000) authorised to be raised by the Hawke’s Bay Electric-power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of further reticulating its district, excluding the Borough of Napier as constituted on the 6th day of July 1925, the said Hawke’s Bay Electric-power Board hereby makes a special rate of 0.046 of a cent in the dollar upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property within its district, excluding the Borough of Napier as constituted on the 6th day of July 1925; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 31st day of March in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twelve (12) years or until the loan is fully paid off,

FEATHERSTON COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Rural Housing Loan 1969—$20,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Featherston County Council hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $20,000 (twenty thousand dollars) authorised to be raised by the Featherston County Council under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 for the purpose of making advances in terms of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Featherston County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.01603c in the dollar upon the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property of the whole of the County of Featherston; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of the loan, or until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed by the Featherston County Council on 13 February 1970.

LOWER HUTT CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION TO MAKE SPECIAL RATE
Redemption Loan No. 35, 1970—$66,000
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Lower Hutt City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of sixty-six thousand dollars ($66,000) authorised to be raised by the Lower Hutt City Council under the above-named Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity those portions of the Stokes Valley Water and Sewerage Loan 1957, $296,400; Redemption Loan No. 11, 1964—$146,000; and Reserves Development Loan (No. 5) 1959, $58,000, which mature on 15 April, 1 September, and 1 December 1970 respectively, the said Lower Hutt City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of fifty-nine thousandths of a cent in the dollar (.059c) on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) on all the rateable property in the City of Lower Hutt; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on or about the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 15 years, or until such time as the loan is paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at the meeting of the Lower Hutt City Council held on 23 February 1970.

Redemption Loan No. 36, 1970—$78,000
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Lower Hutt City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of seventy-eight thousand dollars ($78,000) authorised to be raised by the Lower Hutt City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity those portions of the Waterworks Loan 1958, $274,000; the Normandale Water Supply Loan 1959, $67,000; and the Stokes Valley Water and Sewerage Loan 1957, $296,400, which mature on 15 April, 1 August, and 1 December 1970 respectively, the said Lower Hutt City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0.069 of a cent in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) on all rateable property in the City of Lower Hutt; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on or about the 1st day of August in each year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 15 years, or until such time as the loan is paid off.”
