Land Taken for Road, Road Closed and Vested, and Land Taken in Block II, Orari Survey District, Geraldine County

Pursuant to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works hereby proclaims as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto; also hereby proclaims as closed the portions of road described in the Second Schedule hereto; also hereby declares that the portion of road firstly described in the said Second Schedule shall, when so closed, vest in Mount Peel Station Ltd., a duly incorporated company having its registered office at Timaru, subject to memoranda of mortgage No. 597858, 669344, 669346, and 669348 and caveat 701739, Canterbury Land Registry; also hereby declares that the portion of road secondly described in the said Second Schedule shall, when so closed, be added to the public reserve described in the Third Schedule hereto; and also hereby declares that the land described in the Fourth Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of subsection (6) of the said section 29.
