NOTICE is hereby given that the Cambridge Borough Council has resolved and confirmed by way of special order the following resolution altering the number of members of the Council.

THAT the Combridge Borough Council hereby resolves by way of special order that, as from the next general election of councillors, the total number of members of the Council (excluding the Mayor) be reduced from 11 to 10.

Notice of Application for Consent to Specified Departure
IN the matter of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, notice is hereby given that application has been made by the Automobile Association (Southland) Incorporated for consent to a specified departure, to use the land hereinafter described, part of which is presently used for a private dwelling, as the Association's headquarters, with offices and members' facilities, vehicle appraisal bay, lock-up garages, and off-street parking.
The property is on the south side of Gala Street, Invercargill. The property is situated at No. 47-51 Gala Street, Invercargill, and is located in the residential "B" zone.
The legal description of the land is all that piece of land situated in the City of Invercargill containing 2 roods, more or less, being Sections 7 and 8, Block LXVIII, Town of Invercargill, and being all the land comprised in certificates of title, Volume 158, folio 268, and Volume 71, folio 33, Southland Registry.
The application may be examined at the office of the City Engineer, Esk Street, Invercargill, during normal office hours; and any person or body affected may object to the application, by notice in writing delivered to the Town Clerk, Invercargill City Council, P.O. Box 906, Invercargill, not later than 4 p.m. on the 29th day of January 1970.
Every objector shall state the grounds of the objection and whether the objector wishes to be heard by the Council in support of his objection.
