Notice of Voluntary Winding-up Resolution

IN the matter of the Companies Act 1955, and in the matter of Independent Cinemas Ltd., notice is hereby given that the following extraordinary resolution, by an entry in the minute book of the company, signed as provided by subsection (1) of section 362 of the Companies Act 1955, was passed on the 17th day of February 1969:

1. That the company, by reason of its liabilities, cannot continue in business; and that it is advisable to wind up.
2. That there be a creditors’ voluntary winding up and that a meeting of creditors be called for Wednesday, 26 February 1969, at 11 a.m., to be held in the boardroom of Messrs Hoare, Taylor, and Quirk, Public Accountants, corner of Kilmore and Manchester Streets, Christchurch, for the presentation of a statement of assets and liabilities of the company.
3. That Mr R. C. Timms, of Christchurch, public accountant, be appointed provisional liquidator and be proposed as the company’s liquidator for confirmation of creditors.
