Boundaries of Maungakaramea Riding of the County of Whangarei

All that area in the County of Whangarei bounded by a line commencing at a point in Block XVI, Purua Survey District, on the boundary of the Whangarei City, as hereinbefore described, being the northernmost corner of Ruarangi Block, and proceeding easterly generally along the Whangarei City boundary, aforesaid, to and southerly generally along the shores of the Whangarei Harbour to and up the middle of the Mangapai River to and up the middle of the Paneraira Creek to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Allotment 2A, Mangapai Parish, in Block IX, Tangihua Parish; thence along a right line to and along that boundary and the north-western boundary of Allotment 2 of that parish, crossing the intervening Newmarket-Opua Railway, and along a right line across Ormandy Road to and along the north-western boundary of Allotment 3, Mangapai Parish, and along the last-mentioned boundary produced to and down the middle of the Tauraroa River to and north-westerly generally along the Whangarei County boundary, as hereinbefore described, to and easterly generally along the southern boundary of the Maunu Riding, as hereinbefore described, to the point of commencement.

RESERVE BANK OF NEW ZEALAND

Pursuant to section 33 of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand Act 1964, the Reserve Bank, acting with the approval of the Minister of Finance, hereby gives notice that as at the close of business on 14 February 1969, and until further notice, balances to be maintained in the Reserve Bank by each trading bank shall be equal to an amount which, when added to that bank's holdings of Reserve Bank notes as disclosed in that bank's latest available weekly return of Banking Statistics under the Statistics Act 1955, will be not less than the aggregate of:

18 percent of that bank's demand deposits in New Zealand plus 3 percent of that bank's time deposits in New Zealand as shown in the last preceding monthly return furnished by that bank in accordance with section 31 of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand Act 1964.
