Western Boundaries Description

Western boundaries of Sections 50 and 48 to a public road, along a right line across that road to and along the western and northern boundaries of Section 61, along a right line across a public road to and along the northern boundaries of Sections 49 and 38, all the said sections being of Block X, aforesaid, to and along the eastern boundary of Section 8, Block VI, Hukerenui Survey District, and the production of that boundary across State Highway No. 1 to its northern side; thence south-easterly generally along that northern side to and northerly along the eastern boundary of an area of 1 acre 1 rood 6 perches, shown as taken for road on S.O. Plan 10935, to and along the eastern side of Tapuhi Road to and down the middle of the Waipuakakahau Stream to and northerly generally up the middle of the Waiotu River to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Section 74, Block VI, Hukerenui Survey District; thence along a right line to and along the eastern side of Tapuhi Road to and along the southern and eastern boundaries of Lot 3, D.P. 43284, the western boundaries of Sections 25 and 3, Block VII, Hukerenui Survey District, and the southern and eastern boundaries of Section 2, Block VII, aforesaid, to and along the south-eastern and eastern sides of the public road forming the generally eastern boundaries of Sections 9 and 10, Block III, Hukerenui Survey District, to that road angle nearest to the junction of the easternmost boundary of Section 10 with the northern side of the said road; thence along a right line across that road to and along the aforesaid eastern boundary and the eastern boundary of Section 24, both the said sections being of Block III, aforesaid, to and along the southern and western sides of Parsons Road to a point in line with the northern boundary of Section 11, Block IV, Hukerenui Survey District; thence along a right line to and along that boundary to and along the western boundary of Section 3, Block IV, aforesaid, and along the generally south-western boundary of Paremata-Mokau A. 21 Block, the south-western, western, and northern boundaries of Punaruku 2 Block, the south-eastern boundary of Section 2, Block XVI, Russell Survey District (state forest, Gazette, 1961, p. 883) and the south-eastern, eastern, and north-eastern boundaries of Waikare 17 Block (state forest, Gazette, 1948, p. 233), to and along the south-western and western boundaries of part Tutaematai A. Block, as shown on D.P. 27504, and along the western boundary of that part Tutaematai B. 2 No. 3 Block, being a scenic reserve (Gazette, 1940, p. 216), to the southern side of the Whakapara-Russell Road in Block VII, Russell Survey District; thence due north to the northern side of that road and along the northern and eastern sides of that road to and along the western and northern boundaries of that part Tutaematai B. 2 No. 4 Block, being scenic reserve (Gazette, 1940, p. 216), and the northern boundary of Tutaematai B. 2B Block, crossing the intervening Ngaiotonga-Rawhiti Road, to and along the north-western boundaries of Whangaroa-Ngaiotonga 46 3 and 46 4 Blocks, crossing the intervening Mahia Roadway and the Whangarei North Road, and along the western and northern boundaries of Whangaroa-Ngaiotonga 4F 2 Block to the point of commencement; together with all the islands known as the Hen and Chicken Islands (Taranga and Marotiri), the Poor Knights, and all other islands adjacent to the coastline of the county, and excluding therefrom the City of Whangarei, as hereinbefore described, and the Town District of Hikurangi, as described in Gazette, 1908, p. 1170.

Boundaries of Manaia Riding of the County of Whangarei

All that area in the County of Whangarei bounded by a line commencing in Block VIII, Whangarei Survey District, at the junction of the middle of the Horahora River with the sea coast, and proceeding southerly and north-westerly generally along the Whangarei County boundary, as hereinbefore described, and continuing along the northern shores of the Whangarei Harbour to and along the generally eastern boundaries of the Whangarei City, as hereinbefore described, to the westernmost corner of Allotment 44, Whangarei Parish, in Block V, Whangarei Survey District; thence north-easterly generally along the northern boundary of that allotment and along the production of that boundary to and up the middle of the Hatea River to a point in line with the northern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 56058; thence easterly generally along a right line to and along that northern boundary and along the eastern boundary of that lot and Lot 1, D.P. 59955, to a point in line with the southern boundary of Allotment 20, Parahaki Parish; thence along a right line across a public road to and along the southern and eastern boundaries of that allotment to and along the northern boundary of Allotment 32, Parahaki Parish, and along the production of that boundary across a public road to and southerly then easterly along the western and southern boundaries of Allotment 30 of the last-mentioned parish and along the production of the last-named boundary across Allotment 107 to and northerly then easterly along the western and northern boundaries of Allotment 37 and along the northern boundaries of Allotments 35, 123, and E. 34 of that parish and along the production of the last-mentioned boundary to and northerly along the middle line of Allotment 128 and its production to and along the middle line of Adams Road and along the production of that middle line to and along the middle line of the road forming the eastern boundary of Allotment 47, Parahaki Parish, and along the production of that middle line to the south-eastern boundary of Section 4, Block VI, Whangarei Survey District; thence north-easterly along that boundary and its production across a public road to and south-easterly along the south-western boundaries of Sections 5 and 1, Block VI, aforesaid, and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to and down the middle of the Taheke River to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of that Section 1; thence northeasterly along a right line to and along that boundary to and westerly along the southern side of a public road forming part of the northern boundary of that section and the production of that roadside to and easterly generally down the middle of the Waitangi and Horahora Rivers to the point of commencement, and including therein the islands in Parua Bay, and Pataua, Motukarora, and other adjacent islands.

Boundaries of Kiripaka Riding of County of Whangarei

All that area in the County of Whangarei bounded by a line commencing at the junction of the middle of the Whananaki Inlet with the sea coast in Block VI, Opuawhanga Survey District, and proceeding southerly generally along the sea coast to and westerly generally along the northern boundary of the Manaia Riding, as hereinbefore described, to and northerly generally along the boundary of the Whangarei City, as hereinbefore described, to the northernmost corner of Allotment 99, Whangarei Parish, in Block V, Whangarei Survey District; thence northerly generally along the western side of Vinegar Hill Road and its production to and down the middle of Waitaua Stream to and up the middle of the Mangakino Stream to a point in Block 1, Whangarei Survey District, in line with the eastern boundary of Kahakaharoa 2; thence northerly generally along a right line to and along that boundary and its production to and down the middle of the Mangahahuru Stream to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Allotment N.E. 6, Hikurangi Parish; thence north-westerly along a right line across a public road to and along that north-eastern boundary, along the north-eastern end of a public road, and along the north-eastern boundaries of Allotments S.E. 50, N.E. 50, 152, N.E. 49, 136, and N.E. 39, the said allotments being of Hikurangi Parish, crossing a public road and the Hikurangi-Marua road to the southernmost corner of section 10, Block XVI, Hukerenui Survey District; thence easterly generally along the north-western and north-eastern boundaries of Tauranga Block along a right line across a public road to the westernmost corner of Section 2, Block XVI, Hukerenui Survey District; thence north-easterly generally along the eastern side of the public road which forms the eastern boundary of Section 10 of that Block XVI to and easterly along the northern boundary of Section 3, Block XVI, Hukerenui Survey District, crossing the Otonga-Marua road and along the production of that boundary to and up the middle of the Te Waiongatahuna Stream to a point in line with the southern boundary of Section 13, Block VII, Opuawhanga Survey District; thence easterly along a right line to and along the southern boundaries of Sections 13, 35, and 46, Block VII, Opuawhanga Survey District, along the southern and eastern boundaries of Section 47 of that block to the north-eastern corner of that section; thence north-easterly generally along a right line to the south-western corner of Section 44, Block VII, Opuawhanga Survey District, and along the generally southern boundary of that section and its production to and northerly along the middle of Jubilee Road and continuing along the middle of the public road forming the generally southern boundaries of Section 12, Block VII, Sections 37, 35, 28, and 26, Block VIII, Opuawhanga Survey District, and continuing along the middle of Hailes Road to and down the middle of a stream which crosses the aforesaid road and continuing along the middle of the Whananaki Inlet to the point of commencement.

Boundaries of Hikurangi Riding of the County of Whangarei

All that area in the County of Whangarei bounded by a line commencing at the southernmost corner of Section 4, Block XII, Motatau Survey District, and proceeding north...
