PURSUANT to the provisions of the Standards Act 1965, the Standards Council, on 20 December 1968, revoked the undermentioned standard specifications:

PURSUANT to section 26 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and section 16 of the Counties Act 1956, the Secretary for Internal Affairs hereby defines, as set out in the Schedule hereto, the boundaries of the City of Whangarei, County of Whangarei, and the Manaia, Kiripaka, Hikurangi, Wairua, Maunu, and Maungakaramea Ridings of the County of Whangarei; the boundaries having previously been altered by Order in Council made on 23 June 1965, published in Gazette, 24 June 1965, No. 35, p. 1009; on 14 June 1967, published in Gazette, 15 June 1967, No. 37, p. 1018; on 19 July 1967, published in Gazette, 20 July 1967, No. 46, p. 1237; and on 23 January 1968, published in Gazette, 25 January 1968, No. 4, p. 74.

BOUNDARIES OF CITY OF WHANGAREI
ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District containing 110,760 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the easternmost corner of Allotment 116, Whangarei Parish, in Block VIII, Purua Survey District, on the right bank of the Waitaua Stream, and proceeding easterly generally along that bank to and along the middle of Gillingham Road to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of that part of Allotment 50, Whangarei Parish, comprised in C.T. 1693/67 (limited as to parcels); thence along a right line to and along that south-eastern boundary and along the right bank of the Waitaua Stream to and southerly along the western side of Vinegar Hull Road in Block V, Whangarei Survey District, to land south-westerly along the north-western boundary of Allotment 99, Whangarei Parish, to and south-easterly along a line parallel to and 250 links distant from the north-eastern side of Corks Road and easterly along the northern boundaries of Lot 51, D.P. 57, 187, and Lot 16, D.P. 58121, both the aforesaid lots now forming part Kiripaka Road, to land southerly generally along the eastern boundaries of that Lot 16 and Lots 107 to 118 (inclusive), D.P. 58121, and the eastern boundary of part Lot 1, D.P. 25044, to the north-western side of a public road; thence south-easterly and north-easterly along a right line to and along the south-western and south-eastern boundaries of that part Parahaki 1 to and again southerly generally along the generally western boundary of part Parahaki Reserve, comprised in C.T. 2B/4324 (limited as to parcels), the generally north-eastern boundaries of Lot 47, Deeds Plan 60, and Lot 55A, Deeds Plan 67, and the northern end of Dundas Road, to its eastern side; thence along a right line to the westernmost corner of Lot 4, D.P. 58065; thence south-easterly generally along the north-western, south-western, and south-eastern boundaries of part Allotment 2, Parahaki Parish, shown on D.P. 117105, to and along the south-western boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 56321, and along that boundary produced to and easterly along the middle of Old Parua Bay Road to the angle in that part of the said road forming the generally south-eastern boundary of Lot 4, D.P. 18256; thence along the middle of that road to and along the middle of Awaroa Creek Road to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Allotment 1, Wariara Parish; thence along a right line to and along the south-western and southern boundaries of that allotment and the eastern and southern boundaries of that part Te Wharauroa Block comprised in C.T. 1038/300 (limited as to parcels) to and along a series of right lines parallel to and 250 links distant from the north-eastern side of Onerahi Road to the south-eastern boundary of Lot 2, Land Transfer Plan 59041, in Block XIII, Whangarei Survey District; thence along that south-eastern boundary and the south-eastern boundary of part Lot 1, D.P. 24775, to and along the north-eastern boundaries of Lots 1, 2, 3, and 4, D.P. 47645, and along the last-mentioned boundary produced across a public road to a point in line with the south-western boundary of part Lot 3, D.P. 24243, and along another right line to and along that boundary to and along the north-western boundary of the part Waikaraka Block comprised in C.T. 327/98 and along that boundary produced to and north-westerly along the south-western side of King Road to and southerly along the right bank of a tidal creek forming the eastern boundary of the strip of Crown land abutting the eastern boundaries of Lots 2 and 3, D.P. 43242, to the shores of the Whangarei Harbour in Block XIV, Whangarei Survey District;
